HEY!! How'd you know I'm watching!?! 😅
Iv done this recipe every time, thanks for the pointers
How do you start the program? Because if I start, water is falling down inside, but doesn't make ice.... Sometimes the water is little bit hot... Which buttons do you use to make ice?
Pitboss def needs to get themself together with their "tech", because this wifi and prob temp is SO off and on.
Dead broke bbq shit me too !!!😂
What happens if you dont tie it with twine?
Thanks for the ideas on the worries about the paint not priming fully in the factory, this was a great point. Breaking in my smoker tomorrow!
Viewer from Sweden. Im missing your old videos. Drinking Beer and making good food😢.
Just found your site. Good stuff!
Excellent advice thanks
Great comparison, and excellent information. Love the "Ninja" mortal combat graphics in the video.
Put your pit boss grates in the dishwasher after each use they come out like brand new because they have that porcelain coating
I've been a long-term Traeger+ user but recently made the switch to Asmoke and I must say, I'm genuinely impressed! The precise temperature control with the FlameTech patent is game-changing, and the portability of Asmoke is a massive plus. With Asmoke, I've been able to enhance the flavor of ribs with the various wood pellet options, which was a feature missing in my Traeger+. The mobile app is also super convenient, allowing me to monitor food temperature remotely. It's very clear that Asmoke is designed with the user's convenience in mind. Also, the fact that it's environmentally friendly with the use of recycled wood materials for pellets is the cherry on top. I'd highly recommend Asmoke to all BBQ enthusiasts looking for a smarter, more efficient grilling experience. #Asmoke
I'm confused. Why do you need another smoke box with pellet smoking?
I’m confused what the electric is for? Someone said the igniters use a 9v battery not electric.
I was a previous Traeger user but switched to Asmoke and it's been a game-changer for me. The ASCA™ technology by Asmoke ensures better cooking results and cleaning is easier compared to Traeger. What truly sets Asmoke apart though, is the FlameTech patent that provides precise temperature control within 5°F. It's like having a professional chef by your side. The ability to adjust the temperature remotely and monitor the food temperature via the app is beyond convenient. Plus, the taste difference is noticeable with the variety of wood pellet flavors available. Asmoke grill is not just a grill, it's a smart grill that changes the entire grilling experience. I'd recommend Asmoke to anyone looking for a better pellet grill experience. #Asmoke
Great tutorial! Did my burn off and all is well. I'm curious if you clean of that patina or left it for the first cook? I did subscribe.
"You telling me for forty years I been cooking my brisket low and slow and I coulda been doing it like this... Ain't no way!"😂
As a former Traeger+ user, I must say that switching to Asmoke was one of the best decisions I've made. The convenience and consistency provided by Asmoke are simply incomparable. The temperature control is top-notch and the flavors achieved with different wood pellets are amazing. I especially love the portability feature, which allows me to take my Asmoke grill on outings. It's battery-powered, lightweight, and easy to clean, which makes it perfect for tailgating and camping trips. Also, the Asmoke app has enhanced my grilling experience by allowing me to adjust the temperature remotely and monitor the food. Switching to Asmoke has definitely elevated my grilling game and I couldn't be happier. #Asmoke
Nice video. Talked to multiple people before my purchase and a few that had gotten the pitboss regret it so i went with the Traeger. Couldn't be happier,
How many pork butts could you fit on that grill?
After years of using Qstoves+, I made the switch to Asmoke and haven't looked back since. Asmoke has completely changed my grilling experience. The precision temperature control is a game changer and the ASCA™ technology guarantees better cooking results. Not to mention the convenience of the FlameTech patent and the ability to monitor the temperature and share recipes via the app. Also, the portability of this pellet grill is a huge advantage for my frequent camping trips. Plus, the fact that it operates on a battery with up to 10 hours of runtime makes it highly dependable. So, if you're considering a pellet grill, I'd definitely recommend Asmoke for its smart design, efficiency, and versatility. Watch this first and let Asmoke help you decide! #Asmoke
Having been a Qstoves+ user for years, I recently switched to Asmoke and the difference is phenomenal. The digital controller is a game-changer, allowing precise temperature control that Qstoves+ simply couldn't match. The ability to select from various wood pellet flavors has also truly elevated my grilling game. Not to mention the portability of the Asmoke grill! The rechargeable battery is a dream come true, allowing me to take it to tailgates and camping trips. It's lighter, smaller, and the ASCA™ technology ensures a clean and efficient cook every time. I also love that Asmoke's commitment to being environmentally friendly by using wood pellets made from recycled materials. The switch to Asmoke has changed my grilling experience for the better. Highly recommended! #Asmoke
I've been using Asmoke for a while now, and it's genuinely changed the way I do outings. The portability and the battery life of the grill make it so much easier to take on camping and road trips. The precise temperature control makes grilling a breeze and the variety of flavors from the wood pellets makes the food taste incredible. I particularly love the fact that I can monitor the food temperature and adjust the grill temperature remotely through the app, it's a real game-changer! The convenience and versatility of Asmoke make it stand out among other grills I've used. #Asmoke
I have a chuck roast in the fridge that I’m gonna smoke today. But I’m not gonna smoke it fully to eat smoked chuck roast, I’m only gonna smoke it for about an hour, to get the smoke flavor, then I’m gonna cut into chunks and make a beef stew. We’ll see how it turns out.
Great recipe, get a heat diffuser for that Pitboss, Smoke Daddy makes a nice 10 gauge. You have to take it out to seer, but long, low, and slow cooks, she'll heat evenly.
The pit boss grill is pit boss's top grill. This traeger grill is not their top grill. Traeger has another 2 lines above the one here. Great video.
I would avoid this company. I bought a Timberline series smoker, and after only a few uses, I encountered several issues that couldn't be resolved despite spending hours on the phone. The smoker even caught on fire while it was spotless and clean, making it unsafe to use. I ended up with a lemon from Traeger. When I sought assistance, they refused to help because I was stationed in Japan, promising support once I returned to the States. However, when I got back, they reneged on their promise. I spent a lot of money-don’t make the same mistake I did.
5-6 hours!! Might as well smoke them.
Thank you
I prefer the flat side for a total crust. And… have you tried reverse sear, starting temp 250 till the steak has an internal temp of 120f… pull them off, rest will the Grill Grates heat up at 400 grill temp. Then sear each side 1 minute. YMMV.
Very very American. Everything is aimed for 130 million, strange considering "we" are 7 billion on the planet Earth.
Yep I’m a red blooded yankee and proud of it!
Stay hydrated my friends
heck ya!
As a previous Qstoves+ user, I have to say, switching to Asmoke has been a game-changer for me. The precise temperature control that Asmoke provides has completely elevated my grilling experience. The portability and lightweight design make it perfect for outings, and the battery life is impressive. Honestly, the move to Asmoke has made grilling more enjoyable and effortless. It's not just a grill, it's a whole experience. #Asmoke
As an avid outdoor enthusiast, I was using Qstoves+ for a while. However, when I switched to Asmoke, it was a game-changer. The versatility of Asmoke is truly astonishing. I can grill, smoke, roast and even bake on the same appliance. The flavor infusion from the wood pellets is also unmatched. I love the fact that it is battery-powered, making it a perfect companion for my camping trips. The temperature control is accurate, and the ASCA™ technology ensures efficient cooking and easier cleaning. The FlameTech patent is also a great feature that ensures precise temperature control. The Asmoke Essential is compact and lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around. The rechargeable battery offers up to 10 hours of runtime, which is fantastic. I can confidently say that Asmoke has definitely changed the way I do outings for the better. #Asmoke
As an avid outdoor enthusiast, I was previously using a Qstoves+ for my grilling needs. However, since switching to Asmoke, my grilling experience has significantly improved. Not only that, the various wood pellet flavors have added a new dimension to my grilling, enhancing the taste and aroma of my food. Plus, the portability of this grill is a game-changer for my camping trips. It's battery-powered, lightweight, and compact, making it super easy to pack and set up anywhere. Lastly, the Asmoke app has made the grilling experience even more seamless, allowing me to remotely monitor and adjust the temperature. Overall, Asmoke has added a new flavor to my outings and I can't imagine grilling without it! #Asmoke
you gunna post this on every single pellet grill video?
Fantastic video!! Definitely improved my learning curve for getting my smoker primed and ready so effortlessly by watching and following step by step. I appreciate your expert advice and for helping me to protect my investment! Thank you sir!🙂
Enjoy that new pit!! Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for this .. just got my first charcoal grill about a week ago and learning. I never did much barbeque before even with gas .. that being said I got an anericana walkabout grill. Will this method work with that Grill? I cooked steaks today but came out too well done for me, also cooked with lid down but seeing you let it heat up 1st to 500 and then lid off. Unfortunately mine doesn’t have a thermometer so would have to guess at when it hits 500
Surprized the Rec-Tec did not make the list. Maybe you have not tried one. I have had mine for 6 years, and going strong.
Which one would you rather have that or the lone Star
Friends don't let their friends use traeger
hahaha thanks for watching!
Whats your thoughts on pit boss pro series
I have always been a fan of Pit Boss!
I have a Oklahoma Joe Rider 900. It sounds like i should be cleaning after each use and then deep cleaning the smoker after 3 cooks. Whats the difference between deep clean and what you show in the video?
Clearing the ash pot is a normal clean out. Deep cleaning is getting out the vacuum and scraping down any grease. Thanks for watching!
BTW thanks for the video on the burnoff. I did the burnoff to clear it of junk but didnt spray it down with oil to season it like a cast iron pan. I'll be doing that tomorrow.
I have a Rider DLX 900. It has pretty much everything the 1200 has just smaller. Ive been watching some videos and people are smoking at 185 degrees. The controls on the DLX only go down to 200 i think and then they have LOW. How do i get down to 185 for a slow overnight cook? Is there a video on the DLX control panel? I could really use the instruction. Thanks in advance.
You are currently getting promoted by YT ad free (#1 on search result) so congrats 🎉👏👏👏
Wow! Thank you for watching!!
@@DeadBrokeBBQ Costco had them on sale recently fyi
Great video thx easy to understand good for us rookies lol thx
Heck ya!! Everyone starts out as a rookie!!! Thanks for watching and enjoy that new pit!!
I got a Pro 780 last week. Is it supposed to smoke a lot right after igniting it? I started following the instruction manual for seasoning but then found this video and shut it down 5 minutes after igniting because it started smoking a ton. Before I restart, want to make sure that’s normal 😬
Got my dad who’s turning 60 in a few days this model. Really tried to get him the Treager XL but sadly couldn’t afford it for payment plan. He’s an executive chef and had a really bad year last year with his health and job. But things are much better now so I got him this grill because some salesman at Costco sold him on the brand few years back and was all he would fantasize about getting even though with all my thorough research I know you mentioned the camp chef woodwind pro being a bit better. I couldn’t convince him. So got him this model since it’s the cheapest I could somewhat afford just gunna take a long time to pay off. But did all your steps for seasoning and baking and even though I’m a neighbor (Minnesotan) we had horrible rain all day today I managed to luck out and get a dry spell to do the seasoning times and temp increases and all worked out great! Tomorrow being Father’s Day he’ll be doing his first smoke and cook with it which he’s excited. He will be doing a rack of ribs and dry rubbed chicken wings. Great videos! Me and my dad watched a few of them while we waited on the cook times for seasoning. And really enjoyed them. I’m not sure if you’ve done a video on this. But I know other KZreadrs have. But what brand of wood pellets do you tend to prefer? He is new to the pellet grilling scene so trying to be a helpful sous chef or whatever the term is for BBQing lol. Either way he’s excited for his first cook. And loves that he will be able to let it cook and monitor it from his phone since movement is what’s tough for him.
Did his first cook with ribs and chicken wings today. And 100% love it. The ribs he made turned out amazing! Same with his chicken wings. But the ribs which im normally not a fan of ribs (braces ruined my desire for them) but damn these were good. We even found some sauce at walmart which never thought id recommend something from there but a sauce brand called “Blues Hog” their “Raspberry Chipotle” was amazing to dab with the meat. But meat alone was great as well!
Just put the legs on haha gonna follow your instructions. Thanks for making this!
I hope you are enjoying the new pit!! Thanks for watching!
