Is This The Best Electric Smoker

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This could be the best commercial grade residential electric smoker on the market today. The new Pro Smoker Pro Max 100 S smokehouse not only can smoke sausage, bacon, jerky, and snack sticks, it can smoke BBQ!!! This pit is very efficient, it runs off electricity and a pan of sawdust!! The Pro Smoker Pro Max and Classic have some huge upgrades and I am very excited to share them with all of you! The new wifi controller is probably my favorite upgrade but the double door on the Pro Max is a very close second!!
This pit can be ran by anyone and a great choice for someone that really wants to get serious about making venison sausage or snack sticks!!!! You get one of these, I promise all your hunting friends are going to be crazy jealous because you are going to be making your own, while they are spending hundreds of dollars on getting their bambi processed!!!
Pro Smoker and PS Seasoning are sister companies so check out their links and sharpen up those knives, you got some processing to get done!!!
Thanks for watching!!!

    Hi Jeff. I have a charbroil electric smoker that I have a hard time getting a smoke ring with. I was wondering how the promax 100 S does with a smoke ring. I like a lot of smoke flavor I can’t seem to get close to an offset smoker. Any input would help a lot thank you!

  • @DeadBrokeBBQ

    @DeadBrokeBBQ

    You can keep adding AS MUCH smoke to a cook as you want with the sawdust but watch out because it is very easy to over smoke stuff in these pits. I typically never go over a 3/4's full pan. Smoke ring, keep the meat colder before you put it in the pit. Thanks for watching and use my link, they also have the Pro Classic!!!

    Hi Jeff, love your videos. I am eagerly awaiting my Pro Max 100S and was wondering if you can touch upon the use of the water pan regarding making jerky (probably not used), smoking sausages, bacon, or regular cooks like ribs or chicken. I have not seen anyone address this yet. Ty Buddy.

  • @DeadBrokeBBQ

    @DeadBrokeBBQ

    3 ай бұрын

    First, congrats on the new pit you are getting, good job!!!! So as far as the water pan, I actually don't pay much attention to it because (hold on an let me explain) ha ha I actually pour water in the drip pan!!!!! Yes, drip pan, this is what I do on the PK and I actually have a pro classic that I do the same on . This helps as a heat shield and evens out the temps much better in the pit. So for jerky, I do not add any water but sausage I add water after the casings are dry and I start to add smoke to them. On regular BBQ cooks I would add to ribs or brisket but NOT to any poultry. I still have to cook BBQ on them and hopefully soon I can get something filmed doing that either for this channel or over at @smokedbbqsource where I also post videos. I have 3 Pro Smokers now and I really only use them for sausage production but the new Pro's will be able to produce some good BBQ for sure! Just make sure there is room so the smoke can maneuver through out the entire pit. This will do a great job on a few racks of hangin ribs for sure!!! Enjoy that pit bro and have fun making some epic eats!!!! Thanks for watching!!

    @@DeadBrokeBBQ Ty Jeff for your time with a very detailed answer. I, too, will be using this primarily for warm smoking sausage (150F) as pellets grills don't mange well at those low temps. I would love to see you do ribs or a brisket in this pit! I have a better understanding of the water pan and when to use it...ty for that and keep on smokin' brother....Jim

    Just seasoned my pro smoker 100s…. I found that it took just over thirty minutes to get to 100 degrees, and then another thirty minutes to get to 150. Is that normal to take so long to get up to temperature?

  • @DeadBrokeBBQ

    @DeadBrokeBBQ

    7 ай бұрын

    YA on the smoke setting it takes time to heat up that big pit!! If I am in a hurry I put it on COOK and it will get up to temp a little faster because it is using the whole heating element. Another thing to know, is if you have it loaded it will take some time to get up to temp because of all the moisture. But once they zero in they hold very close!!! The top and bottom damper has a lot to do with building that heat!! Have fun and once you cook with it, you will be amazed what a great product it can produce!!! Thanks for watching!!
