Protestants began to call the faith “Roman” almost in a contemptuous way to differentiate themselves from their version of Christianity who did NOT answer to Rome…we should have never kept the “Roman” considering how that started

Hello beloved Friends in Christ I have a little problem, I recently converted to orthodoxy but I dont have any orthodox churches near, but I have catholic church near, can I go to a catholic church being a orthodox Christian?

Would it be possible to edit the subtitles? I would like to translats it to slovak since my mom doesnt speak English and I would like to share it with her
Click on the wheel next to cc, see Subtitles there and click on it and see Auto-translate there and after clicking on it you will find Slovak and turn it on. I turned it on, but you may not be able to see it on your phone, try it on your computer

It is the carol of saint Lazarus from Cyprus.
Much of this is from the book Athonite Fathers and Athonite Matters by St. Paisios. In it St. Paisios gives a longer edifying story of Elder Tikhon, a saint of God indeed!
