Ahah amazing intro XD
So, I have played enough to get to the end of the first block(but not it’s boss I think) but I have loved how the protagonist of this game acts. So anything up to that point is fine but after that part I’ll be riding blind and playing along. But this protag tickles me because in the original he acts like most of this is normal for him but he keeps it to himself.
I’m gonna pick this one as my first binge session because I have a friend who keeps trying to peer pressure me into playing Persona 3 as my first persona game and I don’t have a very good explanation as to why this series doesn’t seem to grab me.
@@blackchibisan8116 that's fair! Don't give in to peer pressure when it comes to games. Sometimes it doesn't end well and not every game is for everyone. I hope that I can entertain ya enough with these vids
@@Sobata92 You haven’t failed to entertain yet. I tried to do LPs when I was younger because it felt like what helped me make friends in the first place. Just sharing an experience together. But It’s been too long since I last got to embrace that feeling. So this is nice.
@@blackchibisan8116 I vibe with that. Started when I was younger and still going despite being 31. It definitely helped me make new friends along the way and helped me get out of my little antisocial shell. It's been a good life experience honestly and I wanna keep going for as long as I can

@@Sobata92 What sucks is that I love smaller content creators because there is a cozy community feel like you came to somebody’s house party or were invited over by a friend instead of it always feeling like a massive shindig. Sometimes there is something truly soothing to just a small group of friends riffing on something. So I’m sorry that I missed the finale debut vids on one of my favorite RPG games as they came out but I’m going to start just normally checking your channel like the old days and I’m going to catch up on one of these other LPs so I can join in the fun.

Doujinshi aren't typically sold in stores (for copyright reasons), they're sold at events and conventions like Comiket where the people who made them set up booths to sell them, along with merch and stuff. If a store is selling them, it's probably second-hand.
Googling "Bill Clinton Pervert" was very funny. I had no idea it was a thing, it came out of nowhere. Virtual rebuilding has been reused in S;G 0 and Robotics;Notes. DQN is pronounced dough kyun. Sena Aoi really is a strange one for now but I know what she's saying. With the surge of other series coming I hope C;H releases won't get spaced out.

- Takeharu - Grant George - Leon/Shuichi (DR), Sanageyama (KLK) - Aigis - Dawn M Bennett - Elm (RWBY), Yukong (HSR), Maggey (AA anime) I get Yukari's reaction here. It's not fair but she just got bliindsided by her dad's dying message and that he was seemingly the cause of all the stuff regarding the Shadows. So, obviously, she's going to lash out. She targets Mitsuru because, unfortunately, Mitsuru has already set the precedent of withholding relevant information and it's almost habit for her to distrust her at this point. The thing I love most about Yukari though is after she's been given a moment, she realizes that she's not being fair. Mostly in regards to lashing out at the MC but also in her snap judgement of the situation with Mitsuru. Even that horrible moment where she vocalizes wishing that it had been Mitsuru's dad that had been the casualty, she regrets it. I can't even get mad at her for having that thought because it's a horribly human reaction. "Why the person we love? Why not someone else? Why are we the one punished?" This may have honestly been the moment that sealed my love for Yukari as a character.

Y’know looking back, wish i took the Yukari scene seriously. I’m not the type of guy that thinks about choices that don’t matter in games. I even chose to not hug her, which i thought was a good idea since it looks like she doesn’t want to show vulnerability. Then again, im not much of a hug person either

Ok so for those who didn't get it. Durring that bit Yokai was talking about his Madoka Magica figurines getting destroyed and I make the quip that the only damage to the Mami one was her head had fallen off. That's what caused the laughing fit.

So this is why I can never say that Mitsuru keeps secrets or recruits people with any malicious intent. Now she’s actually checking with Fuuka after she agrees to go along with Mitsuru. “Why am I only ever right about the worst things…?” Oh Yukari…. Hope for the best, expect the worst. That’s what my mom always says. But another reason I love Yukari. She realized she may have overstepped with how she questioned Mitsuru and apologizes even though she wasn’t wrong in principle. That scene from the very beginning seriously hits different, especially Junpei’s part. The new voice actors did a good job with my favorite scene in p3
I personally did not view that moment as positive when I went through this game. I was extremely wary of Riimi, I think for good reason. But of course, we'll see where the roulette falls on that one.
Glad my comment made you smile! So much great stuff this episode, but character development for Takumi is so good. How unbearable he can be sometimes really does make something so simple as a "thank you" feel really impactful coming from him. Also love the anti-reveal of the crime scene during Suwa's presentation, where the photo actually being tame compared to the other sickening images is actually *more* impactful given what we'd been shown before.
Shogun's introduction is such a memorable scene, and his design is a big part of that. He looks nothing like anyone would ever imagine. The scene with Rimi after it is the cherry on top. Suffice to say, Taku's head is more full of chaos than ever before.
“It just never seemed relevant.” Mitsuru. Honey. Sweetie. Light of my life. This story is literally the origin point for the Shadows we’ve been fighting. How is that not relevant? While I totally get why Yukari snooped and did what she did, man it was a ballsy move asking in front of everyone like that. But if she’d asked Mitsuru in private she risked Mitsuru deflecting or skirting the issue. Again, I will never say what Mitsuru does is malicious in intent but it’s very much an “ends justifies the means” approach that she’s adopted.

21:21 The boss by the way it's called Arachuns actually first debuted Metroid 2 Samus returns and he's the only boss in the game that ain't a part of the Metroid species.

Well done on finishing Golden Sun. With everything in mind, Golden Sun: The Lost Age takes what was good about this game and improves on it along some new things and, for me, was probably the part of the Golden Sun saga that made it so good. Just be prepared for that data transfer process; the most useful option is complicated beyond belief.
I made sure to tell him to keep his save afterwards.
Came here for golden sun, stayed for the voices and commentary, this was really enjoyable, loved every bit of this journey. Congratulations on getting all the Djinni! As celebration, some more combinations: -Giving three Mars and three Mercury to Ivan makes him a Ranger. Great versatility in terms of offense and some minor supporting capabilities with Ward/Resist, Bind and Break. Giving three Mars and three Jupiter to Mia has the same result. -Giving Ivan or Mia three Venus and four Mercury (Ivan) or Jupiter (Mia) gives you the class White Mage, which is like Ivan's current Savant/Sage class (Sage *is* the higher tier one btw) but with access to Revive and Attack reduction Psynergies that are entirely unique to that class and its upgrades. Take away one of the Mercury/Jupiter Djinni in the above class and you get Medium, which is subpar for healing and doesn't learn any strong offensive Psynergies except for the Froth series, but it does learn Haunt, Curse and Condemn. The colored statues puzzle at the end of the Tunnel Ruins had me stumped for a long time too, it took 8 year old me a week or so to figure out that interacting with them is supposed to be a clue to reading their minds.
I just finished whole series myself (tho it took 200 episodes haha). What an amazing ride. Masada work is awesome and complicated at times. I hope someday KKK will get translation so I can expand this universe!
