Just a guy who enjoys each and everyday. After surviving heart surgery, life has gotten whole lot different for me. So follow me as I drive a flatbed truck all over the lower 48 & Canada. Along the way, I'll breakout the gravel bike, and see where we can go. Maybe see some interesting things during our travels.

@@shellbyrd100 it was a great day out on the lake with the whole family.

Love your videos, I drove for Melton back in 2022. I left because of personal financial reasons. I do plan to return to Melton once my house is sold and a few debts are paid off so all I have to do is worry about me. It's definitely difficult to support yourself on the road and worry about the bills being paid at home.
@@chrisgotrucking743 I'm glad you want to come back to Melton. You get your personal items handled, and I'm sure Melton will be happy to have you come back. Thanks for watching the videos, and I appreciate the comment. ✌️
Yes Sir!! ✊😎
@tolga24 thank you 😊
A 70 Corvette, that's Awesome I have a 84 Monte Carlo SS that I need to restore, but I want to get a 74 Corvette maybe one day I will
Ooh. I like those Monte Carlo's right now my vetted is yellow. But I think I'd like to restore it back original 🤔 the original color was Donneybroke Green. Will see😅
My SS is Silver with a purple Tint kinda cool when it was on the road, but when i redo it gonna be orange and black.
@@thelastsupertrucker good color combo.👍
Put a twist in the straps on both sides it keeps it from vibrating loose. But no matter how tight you get those bags they’ll always get loose due to the product in the bag settling more.
@austinmcdowell7073 you're right. It just gets loose as you ride. Thanks for positive comment.
@@myadventures126 your welcome. did what your doing for 9 yrs, never found a good way to keep them tight. Stay safe out there.
Brings me back to the trucker missions in SA
Good job man.💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Thank you, Sir. Always appreciate your comments.
you get a thumbs up for choice in music
@@Dasquapy thank you. ✌️🤘
Way to much work
You are legendary mode brother
😊 thank you for the compliment.
We use to call loading coils like that suicide
Still called suicide. Why mess with the original saying 🫣🤙👍
How in the world did they get this shot?
Camera on selfie stick
360 camera.
Yes, insta360 on a selfie stick.
When you could care less about your life and money is more important ✌️
What did you see in this video that was wrong
Professional truck here Lady’s and Gentleman
Thank you 🙂
My weekend is 200 miles and unloading 623 cases of food at 15 different places 😅
Wow. Seems like a weeks worth of work. Done in 2 days. Not a lot of driving. But a lot of physical work. 💪✌️
love this song
Yes, I like this song as well. Thanks for commenting. 🤙
🤣🤣🤣
Semis do that because with a trailer they can’t turn sharp and have to turn wide
My Father had been next to a rig hauling coils and one broke free, rolling right over the cab. I see them standing up on occasion, and I was told that was preference, but standing will not allow them to roll, I know that. And his load was tied down properly, from the reports, but it was in the 90s, but yours looks damn good
Coils are loaded and set in one of three setups. Suicide (like this one), shotgun. And eye to the sky. Normally, aluminum coils are set up on a pallet and are able to be loaded eye to the sky; which is the preferred way to have one loaded. Most steel coils are loaded Suicide, and yes, they become a challenge. This was a steel coil, and the place I picked this up at. Only loads one way, Suicide. Thanks for commenting, I appreciate you taking the time to comment. ✌️
@@myadventures126 no problem, i also have a channel, all the comments and responses helps, you got another subscriber. I actually thought the suicidal load had been made illegal
@@NateG219 I'll check it out.
Looks good. Ive never personally used the straps overtop but i shall try it now. And lets see what all the naysayers are gonna say once this video starts getting more attention. Bunch of non flatbed/non truck drivers who think they know what theyre doing.
Hey, thank you for the positive comment. The straps make the coil ride a little better. It doesn't feel like it's going to jump off the bed.
@@myadventures126 Does it take away that hard pull feeling when you hit a bump in the road?
@@CerebralAssassin1977a little bit. Especially when it's just one coil.
@myadventures126 I haul coils all the time so will have to try that. I have a coil video posted in my videos out of Montreal
In the states, you have to have 1 strap over top, many dont, but supposed to
Steel coil POV?
Yes.
The best feeling ever when you know you can park overnight at a shipper 💯😎
It really is a good feeling. 💯✌️
That's me pulling into a truck stop and now I'm going down the wrong way to back in lol the struggle is real
Lol, you know it. But it was early in the day. So I felt I could get away with it. Good luck next week.
stolen audio
I hauled coils for years and this is text book for securing a coil properly. Plenty of chains through the eye, a bulkhead of lumber and straps over the top to keep it feeling right on your bed. (That also reduces the amount of “assfingers” needed to feel earthed) Aces brother. 👍
Thank you, Sir. And you're right about those straps over the top. They make the ride so much better. I appreciate the comment.
It was great to meet you today at the Love's, I'll be looking for you now at every Melton truck 🤣🤣🤣
It was very nice meeting you as well. I enjoy your videos. Very informative. Be safe
@@myadventures126 you too!
I got so nervous when the cab went under the power lines
Those cables do look very low when you watch the video. But they are not as low as they look. Thanks for commenting. 😊
Nice video, you rode the ebike after you rode your regular bike, so unless you're in racing shape, your heart rate is going to be more . That 45 minbreak between rides wouldn't be enough to not affect your ebike ride. E bike is twice as heavy, so it's going to take more work to maneuver it around Despite the pedal assist also you were like 30 minutes faster than your regular bike, so l think that is where the higher heart rate numbers come into play.
Thank you, Tim. I really did not think about my heart rate in that manner. I appreciate you watching and commenting on this video.
As a trucker myself this is a easy turn not sure what you are making a big deal over
Not much a choice on some of these roads
Well this is legal
Melton truck lines at it's best
What’s wrong with melton I use to drive for them
A feat? That looks like a typical maneuver a trucker would do.
People when they don’t realise a vehicle 5x their car length can make a sharp turn:
Get your ass home son and get some well deserved RNR. Keep up the great work
Hey Man, thank you for all the positive support you give to all of us truck drivers. It's always appreciated when I hear from you. ✌️
@@myadventures126 it's my pleasure Chris you're an inspiration please keep it up
Not that impressive I can do that and I've driven a truck before

who else is here at Mon May 20 2024 19:18:00 GMT-0400 (Eastern Daylight Time)?
Something we do multiple times a day. No wonder there's a problem with today's drivers. There's even pictures and warnings on the back of trailers for it, and these idiots still shove themselves in between us and the curb
Called a Button Hook turn.. LOL 😂😂😂😂
Audio from different vid
I live on this road
Its a beautiful area, and I'm sorry for running over the curb. I'll do better next time.
Lol you good,I don’t now why they made the curb so tall
Rainbolt will see you soon
Homeless?
crazy
Almost perfectly* i drive semi this turn couldve been executed slightly better however its not always possible to do the same thing and do it perfectly everytime professional drivers are no exception
You could do it on the APP if you just pull forward and get split and then hit reweigh and just disregard the steers on the reweigh.
Very true. I did this video a few years back. Thanks for commenting. ✌️
Mocksville that’s literally where I lived
Curbs with flatbaed spreads will npt flip you over. Signed experienced flatbedder.
He still crossed over the double yellow you’re not supposed to do that
You just don’t understand
Semis have the right of way to cross lines and go into other lanes to make a wide turn to avoid hitting a curb or vehicle or any other object that would be in its lane
