Colorado Blizzard | March Snow Storm | Semi Trucks In the Ditch | Truck missed the turn |

Dead headed to Pueblo Colorado. Drove about a 100 miles in a snow storm, with cars and semi's in the ditch. My CB radio came in handy several times. #meltontrucklines #flatbedtrucking #trucker

@@myadventures126 your welcome! Your story telling is really engaging. Your description and thoughts align well with the situation or circumstances you are facing. You tell it like it is. Like in a book, you tell us what you’re thinking and making decisions based on experience or first time encounter, all the while, keeping your self and the load safe. Music editing is also very good! 👍 Looking forward to the next video!! Temperature is warming up here in St. Augustine, Florida. I can do without snow in March and April…!! Stay safe!

The snow started that morning in Sidney, and did not stop until I got down to Limon. But the last 45 miles or so. Were just a whit out. Be Safe my friend.

Thank you Helio. I use Go Pros with clamps, and good magnets in some places. I like trying to come up with ideas and angles to place the cameras. Gives me something to think about while driving. 🤔🤨🤙✌

How does meltons no chain policy work ? During your trip plan do you reroute or stop if you know you have to cross a chain up area ?

Hey Alex, good question. So Melton's chain policy is this. No chaining to advance the load. If you need to chain to get to a safe place, then you do so. As for routing. Melton gives a "suggested route solution". Does not mean you have to follow there route. But they give you a route to help you if you need one to follow. If you as the driver. Do not feel safe to drive. Then you stop in safe area. Let Melton know that you have stopped, and once you feel safe to continue. You let Melton know, and you are good. Melton just wants you to communicate with them, and you are golden. Melton does not want you to re-route 100's of miles out of route. So if you are in a chain up situation. You will need to shut down. Hope this helps.
