Nice panel! I hope you add a GTX345 next to get all the ADSB in to the 650xi. I got the GFC500 and JPI on my wishlist for next things to add. As I’m sure you know it’s never cheap 😂

Yeah I regret not getting the 345 but at the time I i couldn’t justify the price and traffic on the 650 is so small. You will love the gfc 500 just be sure to have a 650xi or 750 as vnav is one of the best features.

Thank you. I used an audio cable plugged into a voice recorder so you can still get engine sounds.

If you constantly have to tell the student to push a bit more nose-down, wouldn't trimming alleviate that? That way neutral stick force is right where you want it and they can focus on throttle for altitude. Just how my CFI tought me, who was a stickler for proper trimming.

I started in 2014 and had about 8 hours then had to stop. I resumed in 2017 in the diamond and almost finished in about 6 months until the school closed. I ending up finishing in 2019 having to find a new cfi.

This brought back so many memories. I remember my solo, my instructor specifically told me to take the RIGHT exit out of the rwy to pick him up otherwise he'd have to walk all the way around 3 runways back to the hangar.
