Wow, this is the best video! You are great at explaining things!
You're truly an EXCELLENT teacher!
Hi Ian, I'm a novice considering buying my first Vespa scooter. I'm trying to decide whether to go for a 150cc or 300cc. I don't plan to be riding on busy highways at high speeds. From the research I've done, a lot of people prefer the extra power of GTS 300's not necessarily to go faster but to be able to handle hills better or have more power when riding with a passenger or get out of sticky situations better. What are your thoughts please? Is it worth maybe making a video about this subject? Cheers.
Great video for a novice bike rider. Thanks!
probably best video on yt so far explaining basic riding and steering concept on a scooter.
Thank you very much for your lessons, Ian; they have been very helpful. You said it yourself: when teaching a beginner, you cannot take things for granted and you need to break the learning process into pieces and put yourself in the rookie's shoes. You did that in your scooter series, breaking every single aspect into pieces and taking your time to explain everything into detail, so a BIG thank you for that :)
How many pints before is too much? 🤔
Sisu uses Fuller too
I'm interested to come and work into your country. Your help is much appreciated
Do you have contact details of companies who employ overseas candidates?
Thanks for teaching us trucks
Thank you sir for the explanation. 😊😊😊😊
Wonderful instruction, thank you! Question please, do you keep the throttle on a little while turning and use the rear break to maintain a specific speed?
Test Next week, watched a few clips, this one by far the best!
Made it look easy mate! Fee a bit more confident now as a beginner. Cheers!
அருமையான வண்டி❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I Appreciate how basic str8 forward and easy it was for me to understand your video. Thats awsome😊

Doin God's work, mate, Thanks a ton from a beginner
Excelent explanation . Thanks mate.

Why can't I turn? I feel like I'm going to fall off if I lean at all.... 😢
Best video I've found explaning the concept of counter steering! Thank you so much!
Could you make a video showing how to ride with a passenger please
Very unique Vespa with a front brake operated by the left handle bar: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mINnrZJyhrLNcbA.html
excellent tuition..thanks.
Very helpful.
I got my road ranger HR licence 30 years ago on a Greyhound bus with the gears on the opposite side, very difficult at the time, but got the hang of it. These days, I drive my manual cars without the clutch while driving, only on take off and come to halt. Rev matching is what it makes it slot into the snycromesh....
thanks sir for the tips! btw, you look like Phil collins
I love your videos but you need to get right to the point and avoid all the extra blah..blah,blah.Pleas.
Best teacher 👍
Great video. New subscriber.
😮 i learn
Exactly! 💯
Thanks. I bought a Hond Ruckus. Good teaching. I will subscribe.
Thank you so much! This was really clear and helpful! A lot of important information for us beginners. Its really hard to find such clear videos, thank you so much!!
Very bloody informative, also gives the "don't do it but we do it routinely". Thanks
Ty. I rode yr's ago 350 Honda. I found your videos and I saw the light, lol. Just got my Scooter. Excellent Refresher Course ! I look forward getting back AFTER I practice your videos. Ty so much 🌾🛵💯🤗
Hi Ian! Love your tutorials. I'm a proud owner of a new scooter and your videos have helped me build confidence all the way here in the Philippines. Your tip specifically on the rear break has been a game-changer for my "throttle anxiety." One question though, is it a good idea to hold the rearbreak when making a small you turn at a somewhat busy road?
Need to attend the training, which part of Australia they are doing that training?😊
Hands on learning is the best way to understand and get students settled in faster and learn alot quicker as opposed to sitting in a classroom and learning theories all day in my opinion 👍
2:08 DO NOT turn the front wheel IF you use the FRONT BRAKE> In over 40 years of riding motorcycles, all year round, all weathers; from 125 to over 1000cc. I have NEVER used the clutch control method with the FRONT brake ! It is MUCH EASIER with the REAR brake! ALSO it is absolutely critical that your BALANCE on your bike is an absolute. If you cannot sit on and CRAWL with your bike keeping your BALANCE, what I call 'one with the machine', then you will still have problems. Good to have vids like these!
These videos are great mate, thank you. I'm considering buying a motorbike (Vespa) but I've never ridden one before. I can drive a car, but worried about getting on a motorbike. I'm less worried now thanks to you.
Best video
Muito bom vídeo, ótimo
I am choi I also drive road ranger same like him
He is very good
One of the best counter steering videos lve seen, other videos l watched years ago missed the detail and assumed you knew what they were talking about.
