I don’t get it why does the alternator pulley cause the power steering to squeal???
@MrSkeletorG3 ай бұрын
When the alternator clutch pulley stops working properly, the V-ribbed belt, the idler pulley, and the belt tensioner are subjected to excessive stress. As a result, the belt drive flaps and doesn’t drive the power steering pump consistently

TBH ..I change the oil and oil filter on my Toyota Celica every 9,000 Miles without fail (Which is every 9 months for me) Even if there is still oil left in the sump, It is not the end of the world, It is still a million times better than not changing the oil/filter. My 1998 year model ...25 Year old car has covered 224,500 Miles and the engine is still like a Swiss watch. It has never missed a service since the car was brand new. I bought it 9 years ago from an old man who bought the car brand new and he had serviced the car without fail. I have followed suit...Lack of servicing is the reason so many cars fail. Once the warranty has expired on a new car many owners fail to service their car... The manufacturers LOVE people like this. Nobody wakes up and thinks ... WAAA-HOO I have got to service my car today it is 9,000 Miles since it was last done ... I am going to spend £100 and not see anything for my money... Oil 5 Litres = £30 Oil filter = £5 Spark plugs (The budget NGK ones... But they get changed every 9,000 miles) are £5 each and I need 4 of them = £20 Air filter = £10 A mate who has a garage and a hydraulic ramp = £35 cash in hand ..Better than laying on the ground and getting covered in dirt and oil. The total cost for a minor service with the parts is £100. This means my car is always running at its maximum fuel efficiency...It means my car will start in the morning and it means I can get in my car and set off to drive anywhere and at any time and it will not f**k me over and break down. and it means the car engine will last longer ... EDIT... For every fourth service (Every 36,000 Miles or every 3 Years whichever comes first) add a new fuel filter, new fan belt, new alternate belt, and a change of coolant in the radiator DOUBLE EDIT.....Every 72,000 miles or every 6 Years whichever comes first ...ALL the above but also add in a new cam belt and a new water pump. OUCH ££££££ but better than buying a new engine... Look after your car and it will look after you.
