I don’t get it why does the alternator pulley cause the power steering to squeal???

When the alternator clutch pulley stops working properly, the V-ribbed belt, the idler pulley, and the belt tensioner are subjected to excessive stress. As a result, the belt drive flaps and doesn’t drive the power steering pump consistently

Was just about to change the tensioner because it was flapping so much I thought it was that!
