    Would it be compatible with Suito? I have Suito Elite. Or the Kickr is worth buying because it is way better, even though I have the Suito?

    I returned one of these and would return my second if I could. This light is plainly not ready for the main stage. I'll stick to my varia. My carback doesn't even detect half of the cars behind me while the varia never misses. Trek this is a very sad light/radar.

    MyWhoosh is absolute garbage. My computer is capable of rendering 4k yet MyWhoosh defaluts to what looks like 480p every time I start it up - regardless of what I have my graphics set to. If I then reset it above this default value it crashes. Its physics engine is also rubbish. I go up a hill - I slow down - as expected. It then levels out - my speed does not change - I stop pedalling and suddenly I am doing 35kph. Every sign in every country is in Arabic - seriously - is there an agenda here?

    You mention in the video that when syncing workouts to Strava, cadence and power don’t sync in the beta version - since we are way past that did they fix that or is that still the way it works? I just got powerlink pedals and the first workout didn’t sync power to Strava. I did get cadence to sync - just wondering if this is the way it works or if I’m doing something wrong. I’ve tried reaching out to Strava support, but doesn’t seem helpful. Thanks

    To my knowledge, Strava is still not pulling everything from Apple Watch. The only thing it’s pulling is distance and HR. I don’t even see cadence.

    I am over 6ft 6 inches tall. I hope Zwift will come out with a larger frame or a longer seat post and a longer stem post to allow us taller riders to enjoy the bike.

    Came back to try new worlds. Still had problems connecting my bike to Mywhoosh and resistance did not feel right. Also, all the banners and graffiti on the natural rides are just way too distracting. Why would there be spray paint on rocks and trees, just plain silly. And the banners. You do not need one every 5 feet again silly. Most of the time can not even read them they're just ugly and ruin the experience. Even though it is free, zwift still a much better experience.

    IndiVelo was never developed with the aim to become a Zwift alternative, but a way to show how physics could work in an indoor training app and how it is possible to force people to be honest. It even started with a single developer. He now got some help in creating more routes. IndiVelo shows how the weakest points of Zwift can be solved. It would be awesome if the two will work together.

  • @SmartBikeTrainers
    @SmartBikeTrainers9 күн бұрын

    The Zwift HUB one with the cog can work with MyWhoosh if you only use it in Erg mode. However, if you ride in sim mode, you won’t have the ability to adjust gearing since virtual gearing isn’t supported in MyWhoosh.

  • @Flint_Westwood
    @Flint_Westwood6 күн бұрын

    You can remove the Cog and install a cassette instead then use your shifters. The only aspect you lose is the electronic shifting. The Zwift Hub itself works fine with MyWhoosh.

    Interesting topic to hear experiences after a longer period of use. This looks like a smart investment for someone riding a lot of miles indoor, and switching rides in the same household. However, with the current release of the Zwift Ride bike frame, and already having a Wahoo Kickr v5, one would wonder if Wahoo will be capable of making the v5 compatible to the Zwift cog by next winter, would the Zwift Ride become more interesting than the investment of the Kickr Bike Shift? Is the difference in noise level big enough to argument the price difference already partially, next to probably a slightly better ride feel on the Shift? What are your thoughts on that ?

  • @aerowilly65

    Thanks for the video. Done the Grade climb twice now and I honestly think it overestimates your FTP..The usual FTP test protocol is a full 20 minute max effort but this is preceded by a five minute max effort to take the edge off your anaerobic power. At the end of the 20 minutes, you then take 95% of your average power as your ftp.. The grade FTP based on my numbers today is giving exactly 95% of my average power on the climb. But since the Grade climb will for some riders be much less than 20 minutes and doesn’t include any 5 minute max effort before the climb, I just don’t see how still using 95% of that power as your FTP can be a valid equivalent to the normal FTP test protocol.

  • @jmx1024768
    @jmx10247688 күн бұрын

    Only people who take exactly 20min to climb the grade will have 95% being used as the conversion percent. All other times get different percentages, and in general the grade is conservative based on the data Zwift has (aside from 20min)

  • @aerowilly65
    @aerowilly658 күн бұрын

    @@jmx1024768 Ok will look out for that.However,it is still a fact that a 95% conversion of an exact 20 minute effort is still not conforming to the FTP test protocol. There is no earlier 5 minute max effort built-in to this test

  • @SmartBikeTrainers
    @SmartBikeTrainers12 күн бұрын

    I’ve had the frame for only a short period so far. I would say normal cleaning and wiping down the frame after each ride to prevent sweat from damaging any components will go along way in keeping it in good shape.
