I think the first release randor looks very similar to the vintage one. But better details. This 200x inspired Randor has a very different look. I'm certain a cartoon Randor is coming to the Origins Cartoon line 👍

@WhiteLongSword7 Yeah, the whole idea for the Regular Randor was about that Vintage Nastalgia! The 200s version looks a lot like the neca status with details for an Origins figure.
I’m late to the Turtles of Grayskull party-I decided to start collecting the line last week. I managed to secure all four turtles and others at MSRP, thankfully. But am I too late for Sla’ker? Should I plan on paying his current inflated price of about $35, or should I just have some patience?

I think you can still get him from Target online for under $35 dollars depending on your shipping location. Maybe check your local Target stores for any figures that might be sitting there. If all else fails! Then, just pay the $35 to get him elsewhere shipped to your location. That's what I did!

From what I can see, his MSRP is $25. I’ve got some FOMO with this guy as I had the original Slash when I was a kid. $10 more isn’t that bad.

Hello Manchild! In short: Schleich's Version of "Pokemon" heavily inspired by Godzilla! I gave up collecting all the Schleich Dinosaurs which contains a lot of re-paints and "the same dino" +small updates over the years. But the Eldradors looks funny... can use them as monsters for origins.
Hello. Yeah, I have been collecting these for a while now to mix with Mini figures, the Origins, and my monster collection, which is mixed with all kinds of creatures and smaller figures.
@@Themanchlid Schleich is very easy to find for me (Schleich = German). Müller (German Retailer+Drugstore/also in Austria) is full of all Schleich Figures (also the older ones). The bitter pill is only the price increase from last year. Kudos to you: you spell Schleich right. A little longer "chhh" at the end.
@@Themanchlid If found the Turtles i mentioned days ago. TMNT Remastered (Mix and Match) - like "Origins". There are also TMNT Mutations with that feature. Playmate Toys. What do you think?
@iliasfog8857 Yeah, I know schleich is a German company. I don't think I pronounce it correctly. I heard a few different ways to pronounce the name here from listening to different people. They are very costly.
@iliasfog8857 I don't collect the regular turtles line to know enough about it. I only started collecting the Origins Turtles line because of my passion for Motu, and I did grow up with the turtles franchise and really liked it, but for some reason, I never focused my time or budget on any of the figures. I guess the Crossover just did it for me with Motu involved. I think I saw some images of what you're referring to with the Mutantion s such as SLA'KER or Slash. I would say if I were a regular Turtles collector, I would probably pick those up.
I have the Schleich Shadow Bat that looks great perched upon Snake Mountain or the DC Primal Age Batcave that I use for the Horde.

Pictures at mattel creations show the figure with red blast effects. Could anyone confirm if it is a fact they didn't include the elblast effects with all the night stalkers?
Thanks for watching. What do you mean by elblast effects? All the Night Stalkers come with three red plug on Blast Effects as fas as I know.

That figure from 4:15 with the gladiator looking helmet is cool. It might be too obscure to get a figure, though, lol
Yeah, that was an older video with a different background abs figures setup. I think i customized that figure with the helmet.
This one is definitely different (for me, at least) than the wave 3 version. Mine’s face is painted a more brighter orange than the first one. The shorts might be more of an orange shade too. But the face for sure is painted brighter (and cleaner, again, on mine). New body is flatter, not as glossy. Also my new one is Made In Vietnam while my first one was Made In China.
Yeah, they might vary figure to figure with paint tones and how glossy the high lights are. I think I mentioned the buck says made in Vietnam, and the original first release Mer-Man was made in China. Aside from that. It's the same exact tooling and figure compared to the Wave 3 version.

Actually, this review was a request from a viewer who saw that I picked up this fan favorite Mer-Man and asked if I would review it up against the first release one and really compare the two for differences which honestly was a waist of time because there's not really much aside the brighter colors. Jusy found one today at Ross and love him. But you also missed something i missed too with the claw piece. It does articulate a bit if you havent found out by now. I did it by accident. You almost had it but you tried to articulate the older one haha. But the new claw moves like you tried with the old one.
Good finds on this figure at Ross. Yeah, I noticed the claw articultes a little while later when I messed around with it after my review. I think it was stuck.
A bit behind again as I had my own video I was editing that took a while to get to. I actually still haven’t picked up Night Stalker yet; I had a feeling it wasn’t as popular and wouldn’t sell out, also because it’s a bit more expensive than the basic figures (hence why this was the first Mattel Creations sale I skipped). Now that we have some more money, I’ll probably order it, although I need to save for Two Bad next month! Additionally, I don’t remember playing with Night Stalker nearly as much when I was a kid either as it wasn’t featured in the cartoon to my knowledge. I think even as a kid, I didn’t think it was all that different than Stridor outside of the colors. Same with Screeech being identical to Zoar. At least vintage Panthor had flocking that made it “different” enough than Battle Cat. So, for me, Night Stalker wasn’t a must-have. The only real reason for me to get it now is to be a completist…so I’ll probably get it sooner rather than later. That being said, it looks better than I expected it to. Sort of a shame that Mattel indeed seems to gradually be phasing out the window box design; for MOC collectors, I would imagine this makes it harder to display NS next to Stridor. Sure, the artwork is fabulous, but now the box design doesn’t quite match. Plus, I noticed yours looked a bit beat up and dented. Come on, Mattel, get it together! 🤦🏻♂️ Anyway, great review as always! ~Damon
Thanks for stopping in to check out the reviews as always, Daman. I wasn't sure how well this Mattel Creations Night Stalker steed would do as far as sales. I thought someone said online it sold out after several hours. But it's still available to purchase, as you know. I know many collectors who are mainly interested in getting more vintage inspired figures and vehicles to complete the collection would probably pick up this Night Stalker. But I think the cost and windowless package hurt that for certain people, and all you're really getting is another Stridor with different paint, stickers, and a neer base. So, it's something that would appeal to certain collectors for nastalgia or completing the vintage line, as you mentioned the reason you decided to pick it up. I'm happy to see this piece added to the line going back to nastalgia for myself. I think the colors look much better compared to the SDCC prototype displayed last year. I'm also hyped and trying to pull funds aside for the Cartoon Two Bad coming to Mattel Creations later in July!👍
I just got my two extra Vykron figures from the Summer Sale and found out a cool feature on the backpack. The wings detach from the backpack! You’re meant to detach the wings on the backpack when attaching it to the tank version.
Cool! Nice pick-ups on two extra figures, and thanks for the info. Yeah, I figured out later about the wings detaching from the backpack to the tank version. I already had the video up by then. There's always something missed or found later when getting some of these figures in hand and trying all the different combinations out.

Yeah, it can, but it is kind of big, and that collar piece sticks out all over the body. You would have to cut it back and try putting it under the armor. Thanks for checking out the review 👍

I have seen them get limited quantities of Exclusives before from Mattel. But they are usually more expensive! I think your best bet is getting one from Mattel Creations. Pending to cost and availability. It's not guaranteed BBTS or Amazon will get any.

This review I did a lot of the editing. I messed up in a couple of little areas. Aside from congrats on getting a Night Stalker to add to your collection regardless of your space issues. I'm also always fighting space and money trying to collect more figures and accessories. I used to be one of those people who would also watch other reviews of something I had in box and left it mint on card because I felt I didn't miss out on anything as long as I owned that piece in box! So I know what you mean!👍

Please don't advocate for single joints.....you want less articulation then buy classics
I have most of the classics figures on the card already around 286 figures. I personally like the single joint look. But I don't like the pins showing. I do like the idea of the increased articulation with the Masterverse and hidden pins. But those bicep cuts don't look good for a Masters of the Universe figure. That's the biggest complaint I also hear about the arms. Aside from that! I don't think Mattel is gonna make all the figures with those Snout Spout arms. Yeah, those colors do fit the characters better that way. You can set them up however best for your collection! I'm used to the traditional setup!

Or they could have added glow in the dark paint and didn't mention it in the review. But nothing on my figures head or body glows.

But it’s nice to see the line going this deep. I’m kinda disappointed if the rumour is true about the snake priest being part of the snake lair crowdfund me. I really wanted that character.

GREAT review Mr. Man Child! Some are way over the Snake Men, but I say bring them on. For a rehash of parts (which MOTU has always been about), Necro Conda is badass. Im curious as to why he's no longer a Walmart exclusive. Im not complaining.
