Im not pro but i sunk a 30 ft birdie putt to what i thought would have forced a playoff in a club championship. The guy who had the lead proceeded to miss a 2 foot birdie putt and it was hard not to feel for him cause he wasnt missing all day

Van De Velde was pure idiocy, seeing him standing there with his trousers rolled up, looking like an utter clown just made it worse. I've watched a few golfing collapses over the years, but non of them hit as hard as that one, it was so avoidable, so unnecessary I couldn't wrap my head around it. Most collapses I feel for the guy, but with van de Velde I just felt angry.
The commentary and the way van de velde loses along w the music makes this so sad. Makes you feel like crying. His wife can’t do anything but smile. I don’t even watch golf. Rarely actually. It’s just heartbreaking. And the way his career turned out after
