I was really disgusted at Sports Illustrated when that poll came out, I'm so glad Rickie showed them up right then and there. His finish at The Players is one of the greatest performances ever, not only in golf but in all of sports. He is not only a great golfer but a great person and role model for us all to live up to. Its only a matter of time before he wins his first major.

I caddyed in a Marquis Jet outing, about 10 years ago. My friend was in Rickie's group. I asked my friend, after the day was over, " so...how was the kid??" (Rickie always looks like a motorcross dude, to me) My friend said, "oh he's cool. DEFINITELY not a spoiled club kid" I then ask, "how's his game" My friend said, " He can play" I say, " yeah, but...." My friend already knowing what i was going to ask, says, "no....He's got game." That's all i needed. I believed my friend and since then, Rickie's been on the radar. Not a fan of Mustache Rickie, But i still keep an eye out. He's almost always in the hunt.... p.s. thanks for the autograph. cool by me, bro.....

Sheeve Daily, Speith had a spectacular Sunday, falling just short. Rickie had a fantastic Sunday. Reed deserved to win & he did. I'll ALWAYS be a fan of Rickie's, even when he falls short. His time will come.

RF is the epitome of a cool young golfer.. complete with the nice gfs.. one of the best scramblers on tour.. he is as classy as he is crazy in a good way.. he signed every autograph in person the year he won The Players.. well he is more of a steady T5 placer.. but he definitely has the game for a us open win if no one runs away from the pack when he does.. for the Masters he just needs to stay 3 under per round make the cut.. dazzle on moving day 5 under.. & depends who he paired with on Sunday to push him to the finish for the green jacket.. uhm his game might be too California for The Open.. unless he can adapt to those cold course conditions.. great career but without a Major the media tends to make u Anna Kornikova.. nwy super video.. awsm shots & tribute to this US talent

The Flash should start racking up majors any day now, then. Who knows maybe even today. He's 10 min ahead of the leader and 5 shots back, 2 shots behind Rory. Another top5 finish is likely if he can just hold on...or should he play to win? Only needs to pick up a stroke every 3 holes. So he needs a 67 or better. On Masters Sunday. My guess is that's not gonna happen.

...well, not a bad round from Fowler, unfortunately he got beat by the very first guy to post 4 consecutive rounds under par at Augusta. Reed apparently read my mind and decided to post a birdie for a cushion. Hopefully they both will make the cut next year. " In the last quarter century only four other players have won four Tour events before turning 25, and all need no last name: Tiger, Phil, Rory, Sergio. Reed is 16th in the World Ranking. Not quite top five, but pretty darn close." ...my guess is that ranking will change dramatically soon. Fowlers' also. But alas, still no majors for Ricky. Tournament 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 Masters Tournament CUT T22 T49 CUT 1 U.S. Open T35 T14 CUT T13 The Open (British) CUT T20 T12 CUT PGA Championship T58 T30 T13 T2 By the way, did you know that Fowler won 4 top 5s...in 2014? Since then he's been mid-10s & 20s at best (with several missed cuts) except for 2nd today and two 5ths last year Just think of all the very-good players that he has to beat to win a major. Even Mickleson was 5-under today.

What's the name of the song? It's a bit distracting and a bit uplifting. Love compilation vids of everything going right in golf, because we know that can't happen in real life at this rate - but it's nice to dream and I love watching Fowler play more than just about anybody on Tour.

The overrated thing pissed off a lot of people, but to be honest, it has validation - I have a lot of time for Rickie, but for a guy who was supposed to be America's answer to Rory McIlroy when he turned pro, a lack of majors will inevitably see him saddled with tags like those until he wins one.

DJCoggins 4 shots back with 10 to play. Looks like he might not make top5 if he can't hold off Spieth he'l be in a 4 way tie for 3rd and heading south...or he can play for 2nd and hope the field gives a few back. My guess is that he dials it back and takes 2nd or 3rd on a platter. Goes home and falls asleep cradling his Players trophy.

touristguy87 In 2015 he won The Players, The Scottish Open (Over Rory & others) and a FedEx playoff event over Henrik Stenson). In the following wrap around season, the Abu Dhabi on the European Tour, (No wins in 2016) but The Honda Classic in 2017, & The Hero World Challenge in the 17-18 wrap around. OH, & The Wells Fargo in 2011 for his 1st win on tour. So, he's kicked it around ok. Top 5 in all 4 majors in 2014 ain't nothing to sneeze at either. Solo 2nd at Augusta this year. No? Still nothing? Hmmm...

Alfred Watson there's a reason why the Masters invites so many new players each year yet the entry standards are so high. Because winning satellite tournaments and championships might give someone the impression that you're capable of winning a major. Just look at all the past Masters champions who flame out each year. Not to mention this year. But Fowler hasn't actually won a major. Ever. So at least he isn't expected to seriously compeye for tge Masters title. Yes he did very well this year to come in second. So he will be seen as a serious contender for that reason. But each April they use a new set of tees and balls because you can't play with the old ones. Likewise you can't win the Masters based on your past score. Next year his 2nd place will mean nothing. Even less than S0ergios win...or Speiths' two wins or Bubbas or Vijays or Micklesons or even Tigers'. The field is chock full of guys who have actually won the Masters. Reed did win. You can bet he'll be back next year. Fowler isn't even a 1st tier contender. There is no major tourmament for "4 consecutive top 5s". But maybe he gets lucky and wins. It's always possible. Just not likely.

Yeah and he won Tigers Tournament in the Bahamas and beat the course Record -19!! Thats some kind of Hype! He is one of only 4 guys to finish in top 5 in all 4 Majors in one calendar year - Along with Tiger, Jack and Jordan! Hmmmm… Call it Hype if you will, but action talks and hype walks!
