    Do you have a work Visa? Does the Mexican government know you're working while being here? If so, are you paying your due taxes to them, i.e., 16% every paycheck approximately? If the answer is no to any of these, you're commiting tax evasion and contributing to gentrification in Guadalajara

    In providencia you can walk to all kinds of places, parks, malls, schools, cafes restaurants etc. Your video shows colinas. Not providencia. I think this is very misguiding.

    Hey you guys so far what’s been your favorite place you lived with the kids I was considering PDC but I agree with all points in video also with every I’ve getting expensive but I see your in Mexico City I recently came back from looking at places I actually felt Mexico City was extremely way more expensive then PDC and I actually loved Mexico City way more what are your thoughts?

  • @o.family.adventures
    @o.family.adventuresАй бұрын

    Im not even gonna hold you.. all the places we love most are expensive 😂😭 our favorite place on the planet, like literally #1 is Río de Janeiro, Brazil. Madrid, Spain is also really high on the list. We love Mexico City but the air quality/water crisis combination is not ideal 😅 Lisbon is also very family friendly & aside from where the bilingual schools are located, Bogota is great too (some people complain about the weather, but I like it)

    I was in Cancun and playa del carmen and basically saw zero Mexicans that looked like us so. Secondly you did not mention the gringo tax where people are paying 5, 10 or even 100 times more than what the average Mexican would pay for the same thing , for example paying 7.00 USD for a coconut with a straw in it 🤣🤣😭😭. Lastly, Latin America is very family oriented in general and not something specific to Mexico in my experience.

    Don't forget all the shots that you will all need to visit Africa. The time zone issue is real if you have to work on US time zones while traveling abroad. Mexico is CDT time zone which is much easier than being in Africa. Prices for flights to Africa from US are very expensive for one person let along four. We have vacationed in South Africa, Kenya, Mauritius and Seychelles. There are definitely cheaper and easier countries to visit. Definitely must visit Africa when it works for you and your family.

  • @o.family.adventures
    @o.family.adventures2 ай бұрын

    Hey! I’d say the best thing to do is choose your favorite job board & use the remote filter. I like Glassdoor & also LinkedIn. Filtering for a remote job sign the appropriate salary range & applying to jobs that we’re posted on the last 7 days. Make sure your LinkedIn is optimized & make a generic, but targeted cover letter to help your application stand out. Good luck ♥️

    Providencia is not outside the City, it's inside the City just like Chapalita. Both neighborhoods are charming, heavily wooded with plenty of entertainment nearby.

  • @lbs7774
    @lbs777429 күн бұрын

    I think they didn't even lived in Providencia where you have everything walking distance through tree lined streets. It's wrong to say you need a car. Even the American school is there next to malls and parks. They showed themselves stuck in traffic in another neighborhood so this is really not a reliable channel.
