Beautiful city. You guys mentioned a Nomad community there. Is it easy to connect with other black nomad families. Do you guys connect through Facebook. We are usually alone during our travels and would really love to meet others.

Hey y’all!! In cayala specifically the immigrant population is usually retired people. We didn’t see too many Black families or nomadic families in Cayala or a Guatemala in general, but Antigua & Lake Atitlan are more popular destinations. We usually connect with people we meet on IG or in Facebook groups. This summer we’re going to be in Belize for 21 days with Noma Collective.. they specialize in arranging accommodations, coworking space & events for nomads & they run family programs over the summer that include childcare!
