    Did you take each obj and gave it movement one by one with the ur sequencer or did you follow a different approach? How did you do it. Very well done.

    Naah, too much objects for that. Say - the planks and wood pieces - there are hundreds of them. I combined stuff into larger blueprints and position animated those in turn. A bit of a brute force approach but this way it is at leas manageable. Hm... though now that I think of it - it can be done through a blueprint, I just did not think of it while doing it. Will try it on the next project.

    this is an awful tutorial imo, turn off the music and explain what your doing bro, even if you use text to speech. =)

  • @piker78
    @piker783 ай бұрын

    4 years ago there was no adequate text to speech mate. Plus I did not have a mike on my workstation back then and I recorded this for a friend . Plus I pretty much show clearly enough what I'm doing as is evident by the other comments. And finally - this is not a tutorial dude. Want pro tutorials - go to a pro tutorial channel, this is not a tutorial channel. I'm not a pro tutor, merely a Pro 3D artist. This is something I did for a friend of mine and since it turned out to be a requested topic from several of my colleagues - I uploaded to KZread for easy sharing upon verbal request ;) So... yeah - chill and Cheers :)

    Therefore I'm looking to know from someone who's well versed with many 3d softwares if blender is the way to go for mograph or cinema4d would do fine

    Currently i do 2d animation in Adobe AE obv coupled with AI and Ps and my job is slowly evolving into requiring me to learn 3D motion design. I already do like the interface of c4D but self learning it is a hassle mainly because its paid and very well expensive for me

    Hi george, writing this comment after seeing a comment of yours on one of theBblender vs Cinema4D youtube videos. You had an a really nice comment about how and why blender is probably just best for modelling. Im a budding 3d motion designer and i was wondering if i could know from you if blender is the tool to go if one is planning on doing motion design mainly

  • @piker78
    @piker78 Жыл бұрын

    I honestly do not recall the specific comment U refer to, but generally - at this point U can do motion design wherever you like. If U decide to go with Blender, there are tons of great courses, check the ones from Midge Sinnaeve or Ducky 3D.

    Damn, thank you so much. Coming from Maya this is what I needed. Now what is left is to learn how to rotate the 3d Cursor manually without having to type the numbers in the N panel.

    Awesome tutorial! I'm curious why the hair amount was set to 8152? It seems so specific.. haha

  • @piker78
    @piker783 жыл бұрын

    it's just matching the number of vertices on the underlying plane to the number of hairs, so that u have a hair coming out of each vertex, thus forcing the grid-like distribution of the child objects. 8152 is how many vertices u have on the plane.
