Ultimate is a great series as it was a new take with no fear of destroying the cannon. Just like the hellboy movies ( 1 & 2 ) allowed mingnola to re tell his story. People that don’t like it are just pissed cause it didn’t re play the stories they grew up with. Sure it was edgy. But that was the point. The point is pacifism is fucking stupid. And their are no successful pacifist society’s. And foot note you can’t use violence and say “when this is over we will return to pacifism” Pacifism means never using violence at all even if you lose your life. So you would rather die then fight back…. Charles dream is s relive of the 60’s 70’s Jean rodenberry altruistic naivety about reality having grown up in the most relatively peaceful war on earth.

I honestly don’t get why Big Wheel is considered a dumb villain. I mean yeah it’s kinda ridiculous but he could honestly be very destructive. If I saw a giant wheel driving around Manhattan I wouldn’t think “lol, big wheel” I’d think “HOLY SHIT, GET OUT OF THE WAY!”

Speedball was my favorite I was disappointed when they turned it dark I didn't like it because of the self-harm aspect of it not that it has run its course they need to make it so that his powers evolve once again and he can use his powers freely and not do the self-harm thing because there are a lot of young people that still read comics that would take that in a negative light fix the darkness and make it so that they'll know that things do get better with time and they'll come out stronger for it self harm is never the answer

I always felt the New Warriors got way too much flak for what happened with Nitro. If a super hero didn't fight against a super villain because they were more powerful/experienced/whatever, then no hero would ever....hero? Don't get me wrong, I get the message that they were bringing up in the book, having the New Warriors doing this for less then noble reasons and as a result were putting people in danger. BUT to counter that, if Nitro was as awful a threat as he was shown to be, why the hell wasn't finding/containing him SHIELD or the Avenger's # 1 priority? I know, I know comic books, they needed a inciting incident, blah blah blah, but still it just comes across in retrospect as the people of the Marvel world finding scapegoats and while that's understandable for average joes, it's another for it to be 'heroes' like Iron Man.

Now knowing Mr Bean the reason for them to fight is not reasoning enough for him to fight, he would've just focused on the cage trying to figure out how he could release teddy and later on realizing that he could just slip him through between the bars and Superman wouldn't throw the first punch as he would realize his opponent is not in to it he would instead try to find the person responsible for his friend being locked in a cage and throw the attacks on him. So a long story short the fight wouldn't happen unless the reason would be Superman accidentally destroying teddy while trying to save someone and leading to Mr Bean being obsessed with getting revenge.
