@stefanhofstetter54 I like it because often times folks will use something with a grip that reacts differently to different tire compounds, usually of course in 1/10th that may not be good indicators. Carpet for instance. I come from a flooring background and some carpets are treated, others built into the fiber, with stain resistance. This can make tires stick or slick. So I don't like that. And then there's guys that build a permanent ramp and increase the incline over inches. We'll if the back tires are on 50 degrees and the fronts hit 54 than you have to measure the degree of the chassis, not say it climbed 54 degrees. Joe from Exocaged measures his climbs in inches just for that reason. He says how far the car got, not what the degrees are. Makes more sense. I asked about a standard and the consensus in every crawling group was "as long as you measure every rig on the same flat angle for all tires every time" you can get a decent incline test. I use furniture grade plywood. I wipe it down and let it dry and change the angle for every climb. I wanted to do concrete board because someone suggested that being more similar to rock however concrete evaporates moisture. (As does wood but at a different rate.) So a piece of concrete board would get dustier over time and cause loss of traction. But anyone can pick up a nice piece of 3/4" furniture grade plywood and it's roughly the same everytime you buy it because it's made to take a stain. That's my weapon of choice.

Are those 1.3 inch tires?
Yes, DjCrawler 1.3“
What kind/thickness of oil you use?
It depends on the rigs weight and the specific shocks. In this case it was a 30wt. Always silicone oil.
Love the title! TBD. 😂
You were too fast. Had still to copy and paste the title 😉
Fully agree. Gyro should be right out of the factory. Needs other tires for 3s and it also need body trimming. But if you have fixed that it is a absolut blast. And with 30% gyro it is quite stable also in full speed. I like it a lot, drives really well now.
