I love history and spend many hours researching people and places. Ephemera and books are an historical revolving door for me to step through & find many people just waiting to be rediscovered. They walked ahead of us in time leaving so many clues for us to follow. History highlights everyday people and the spectacular events of every single life-characters woven together so long ago. I may not know them all, but their stories are important and call out to me.
Finding others in the universe who enjoy ephemera & junk journals is a blessing. I have so many items here that need a new place & new lease on life you might say!
Our lives revolve around our small flock of rescued sheep . They arrive from many situations in need of a place to retire. All of the proceeds from the sale of our items goes directly to their care. Their only rule? Be cute & give me pretty wool to spin into yarn.

What an amazing find. The woman s day is amazing. keep it, sweetie. The only other suggestion is to split into ,each month. The first child cabinet card is precious. I just received about 50 cabinet cards, tin pics, etc. Love the beautiful backs of the photographers. I collect mostly women & children. Especially girls with the big bows💞🫶🎀
We'll see what happens with the magazine archive. For now it is perched on a shelf where I can enjoy it while I work. It deserves to be out with people who will love it! I never paid attention to the backs of the cabinet cards. So much to learn. Big bows are awesome! Hugs!
Asbury park nj is one of my fav spots on the shore. I had a barn cat that used to ride on my horse Misty's back around the paddock😊I missed that you love Scotland. I'm part scotch maiden name shaw 😮I hear you so well hallelujah 😂Jim will love his journal ❤❤❤❤❤

Hi Sandy, what an incredible find. Never knew anything like this existed. WOW. I couldn't stand Spam, potted meat, white gravy or Swansons pot pies. We grew up poor and those were all staples. Now as i reflect back, mom made all of these taste amazing. She was a super cook who could whip up a meal for 12 in minutes. I have so much gratitude for the wonderful mother i had. Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤

Sandy, this is absolutely incredible. Both the size & scope of the actual book plus the trip down memory lane. I'm not so sure about your ability to scan it though because of its age & the fact the company still exists. Where is a copyright lawyer when we need one? It's a coat. It's a dress. It's super girl. Spam---eek. If you removed the cover, it would expose how it's bound----probably 11 pounds of glue. And then you gingerly tear them off the block so you don't lose too much off the left side of every page. That's my 5 cents worth. Maybe you can sell off 12 issues if you separate them carefully. I'd be interested in seeing what you do & how much it may cost. The cabinet cards are great. I have so few that I'm hoarding them for now. Bad girl. Hugs my sweet friend! H
I was so happy to find a book like that I did not give a thought to copyright! Thank you for reminding me- could have been big trouble for me. The journals are great and I just love all the ephemera you find. The pictures and goodies from Angela are so fun. The books are great. I enjoyed the information on pigs! That little Christmas book is so pretty! The antique book speaks to me and I like the antique tins book too. Rose's drawings are just so special. I love them!
