  Wow, Palermo sounds wild! Mixed bag for sure, but glad the food was good. Turin on the other hand sounds amazing, especially for someone who hates crowds. Loved hearing about the chill vibes and hidden gems. That view from the lookout hike sounds unreal! Just did a Palermo video myself about my street food hunt too! Thanks for sharing your adventures! Love lesser-known Italian cities.

  So far Love Lies Bleeding is my second favorite movie of the year, my first is Challengers. Another movie from this year that I really liked and that almost no one seems to have seen is Sometimes I Think About Dying, with Daisy Ridley.

  I ❤Kristen Stewart too. I can’t wait to see this movie. One of her early movies was a ghost 👻 story about and old house and cornfields. It was called “Messengers”

  vacancy is pretty decent, there is also a vacancy 2 which is a prequel, that I remember being not great.

  Dracula 2000 was a fun one from back in the day and very much a 2000s flick. It also has a great soundtrack. From what I remember, the two sequels were fun as well.

  The Happening ---> Apparently M. Night intended this to be satire, and also apparently, M. Night was the only one that knew this. Looking back, I get it now. That said, Walberg's hammy performance plays well into this interpretation, though Mark might not see it that way.

  I barely remember Dracula 2000, but its soundtrack is the best, listening to it for two decades now. It's better than The Crow's and Spawn's, if you like that kind of music. 😁

  "SHOCK" is a good film. Vincent Price is a reluctant bad guy. When you do your Wicker Man comparison video, did you know the writer of the original 1973 movie wrote another similar story, also made into a movie called "The Wicker Tree". It's not nearly as good, but still well outranks that godawful Cage remake!

  I recently bought a Green Knight etched mug and a Michelle Yeoh enamel pin. Their Audit replica award and Everything, Everywhere, All At Once artist movie poster were sold out in a few weeks from A24 online store. My local thrift stores have a mess of dumped physical media. After watching a few times, they dump them for money. Look for those grindhouse dvd box sets as well. Hardly anyone buying those. Glad you’re diving into cinema history.

  Hey, I do have that same copy of unbreakable! We kinda twinz. Snow White and the huntsman is the cooler horror version than the horror whinnie the Pooh and I was crushing over that evil queen version. Ngl, the enchanted dragon at the top of the tower scene was the coolest scene ever. I didn’t found any good DVDs in goodwills of my area, but I bought the complete trilogy of species.

  I have to recommend the extended version of Snow White and the huntsman because I have it on vudu from universal rewards from a long time ago and before that I seen it too many times and I seen the movie bullet train when it was on Netflix a few years ago.. good movie and Ryan reynolds has a cameo in the movie.

  I've seen Dracula 2000, Enchanted, Little Shop of Horrors and Lady Frankenstein. My biggest gripe with Lady Frankenstein is there wasn't enough Lady Frankenstein in it. In my Letterboxd review, I mentioned how the monster is more of a proto-Jason than the typical Frankenstein's monster. I didn't love it, but I'm still glad I watched it.

  Great selection of Films. I brought a classic 80s childhood Film the other day that Ive not watched in years. Flight of the Navigator. I don't buy alot of Blu Rays as I prefer 4K but Flight of the Navigator Blu Ray was given a 4k scan so picked it up. Good Film, good theme tune.

  Love the shirt, you should wear it in your next Subscriber Mail Unboxing. So glad you got the A24 copy of Love Lies Bleeding. Mine in on order. Interesting I have not seen the move. I just took your recommendation to heart and I love getting some premium editions. I know I will not be disappointed. Plus I have a young Lady friend that has competed in these events. When you watch Unbreakable I learned something I did not realize on my first watch. I friend told me that the movie was also an homage to comic books. Shyamalan in the movie used comic book colors in the film. Watching it the second wow I could really see it. I don’t feel that’s a spoiler just something to add to the enjoyment. Yes The Happening was not his best. I always look at it in the way people with plants sing to them and play classical music that they say helps them grow. Maybe the plants are now mad that some people treat them badly. 😉

  The only physical store chain that sells media in Australia just finished it's 20% off all blu ray dvd and 4k sale and I picked up event horizon on 4k possession on 4k and bug on blu ray plus I found the first 2 seasons of supernatural on dvd for a dollar each and the first season of the walking dead on dvd for 3 dollars while thrifting

  Excellent haul. The cardboard fold out packaging is called a digipak. I imported Dracula 2000 back in 2001 when I was still fairly new to DVD and still have it. One of the best purchases recently is the Second Sight Ginger Snaps trilogy Limited edition boxset with book and art cards.

  You should do a deep dive of Hammer's Frankenstein, starring Peter Cushing. There are 6 films from 1958 to 1972 and they are amazing! The best portrayal of Victor Frankenstein by far!

  I have to watch Love Lies Bleeding, I missed it in theaters!! Great haul, I listened to the audiobook of The Woman in Me, and wow, listening to what she went through is so frustrating!!
