Also your story has some info misleading : when he set the lap record the mechanics knew he was not going to stop, as he said to a reporter after the race that he had thought of this the day before. Also....his goal was to pass Prost through the Pits and make him CRAZY......

Hey, Nice vídeo. Two corrections: the lap he took the fastest lap wasn't to Pit... He confessed sometime later that he actually tested the possobility of doing a lap through the pits If needed... That was his way of trying absolutly everything to be faster... Other thing: Prost putted eight times that Race because the track conditions changed so much te couldn't figure It out of it was slick or wet conditions at some point... He even pitted two laps in a row for this reason

a long time ago MADE IN ITALY was synonymous with EXCELLENCE but today this "WAY of THINK", this "MISSION" is IMPROPOSABLE for ITALY. and that is why we are slowly descending to the lower level of CIVILIZATION. An ADVANCED company think first about SAFETY and this way generates life quality and PROFITS. Italian "managers" NOW think "SAFETY COSTS" and "if we do SAFETY WE ARE NOT PRODUCTIVE, we are slow"and little by little they LOSE credit, money, respect and human lives.

Naska is complaining because Gagganisi is slowing him down, Naska could overtook him but he didn't because he don't wanna risk it.

It's not unheard of. You may end up behind a slower rider for a variety of reasons. In this case he made a mistake at the start.

@@cm-oo1td no risk it will be so selfish, if he crashes into he's teammate he will just destroy the race for the whole team, so he cannot risk anything, gaggnasi should have let Alberto pass instead of blocking him and slowing him down.

Being more entertaining than this year's Monaco GP isn't a high bar lmao. But gotta give it to our guy here, his race craft is good & the way he provides explanations of his actions in the commentary provides a good insight to how drivers approach a race

Is there a reason the cars have paddles but the shifting is done with a traditional sequential lever?

All cars with paddel shifters is a sequential gearbox and in this championship its exposed, hope this helped:)

they use either whenever they want, the paddles rotate with the steering wheel so they cant shift mid correction so they all typically use the mechanical shifter, also the paddles have a slight delay.

Today, F1 had 4 over takes in Monaco. MotoGP had 5 lead changes, MM93 went from 14th on the grid to 3rd place. Pecco went from 1st to 3rd and ran down Martin 1.3sec lead and passed him in 6 laps. MotoGP is a lot more exciting.

I have +30 helmets of many different brands. I only have 1 arai and it's my favorite. The comfort and quality is unmatched. As for the safety, I havent ever had that tested but if I had a choice to be involved in a crash and had to pick a helmet to be in, it would be my quantum x.
