what website is that for the schools research?
Txschools.gov
ah thanks missed it lol
Add Taylor to the list.
I haven’t watched the video. I just wanna say that whatever he says is probably mostly true but that’s not why you shouldn’t move here. We just don’t have space for you. So,respectfully, go away
Texas wasn't always a red state. As early as 1993 we were still considered a democratic state. And then the backstabber george W bush destroyed Texas. Sounds like New Braunfels a lot like Tyler Texas. It was a great place to live at one time and now it's too expensive. The only reason Abbott lowered property taxes is $o fool's like you would vote for the p.o.s. dead dove governor. Texas is not worth coming to anymore. I've lived here for longer than 50 years I should know what a piece of garbage this States become. I remember when it actually didn't suck. And another 4 years under the orange-face-buffoon but only make things worse! I'd rather take someone who governs the country well even though he isn't the best public speaker. Versus the carnival barker, the wrestling ringside announcer, a sleazy used car salesman, a Catholic priest. (They have sex with people they shouldn't.) Open my favorite. "We are in the age of stupid!" I wouldn't mind paying higher taxes provided they actually went to something worthwhile. Instead of red state special projects.
Texas is very gerymandered towards the republican party . They cant win fairly .😅😅😅😅
We vacationed in San Antonio early this year, and the wife wants to move out here or Canyon lake, (we're from Iowa) she hates the snow. (I love the snow) This was good information thank you. What is with the water restrictions?
It's a Hispanic City. It has 63.9%!
I’m from California and have visited San Antonio many times and I think it’s great. I have always enjoyed my time there even with the hot weather.
Do you have one stored home?
He is absolutely correct about NBU. They are gouging all residents in New Braunfels!
Lots of construction but its mainly being done on the north side of town...what about the south where all the traffic is at? You mention 46 and not a lot of work, but plenty of people from New Braunfels work in Seguin and use 46. Other than waiting for the state government to fix 46, why is the city not opening alternate roads asap? Lots of home and apt construction permits but no infrastructure on roads...
NBU is the absolute worst thing here in NB. They have a monopoly here and it’s awful. They fined me for watering outside of a watering day. I didn’t want my foundation to dry up but yet I get tagged with a fine!
We live in Adkins which is close to La Vernia and somewhat close to Floresville. Half of our subdivision has Lavernia schools and the rest Floresville schools, great neighborhood with 1 to 3 acre wooded lots and nice custom homes. I don’t see anyone covering this area. Most homes are 650k and up.
İ ❤ Texas kzread.info/dash/bejne/ppmm2cGBk8zYh8Y.htmlfeature=shared
It's takes 12 hours to get in and out of the state of Texas....90 degrees weather to the end of November 😮
I stay in a four Star ⭐ hotel in San Antonio I won't turn the Air conditioning off ......
I had some black friends who were walking in downtown New Braunfels who were repeatedly shouted at “get out of town n--r”. Not to mention the looney Trump Trains during the last election. The weirdos who terrorized Biden’s bus on its way to Austin also originated there. So, if you want to live amongst extremist terrorists, by all means move there.
The heat is a pro!
Moved to TX from VA back in September of 2023 and made Boerne my home. Down in the little bit of Boerne that's in the 78015 but I'm smack right in between Boerne proper and The Rim. Absolutely loving every day in the hill country.
Victoria is a secret down there
Seaworld..no!
/ stray dogs, I used to ride my bike around town and those dogs were horrifying to see just randomly pop up and chase anything that moves :(
How’s living in converse?
If you don’t like very hot weather with high humidity then don’t move here. If you do then buy a home with a swimming pool. The heat is just miserable. It is more crowded with a lot of bad drivers. If you are single then good luck! lol.
Sounds like miami, always hit and humid with bad drivers.
There has been an increase in population here as well. I believe they're intentionally driving ppl out of rural areas and into bigger cities to corral and control us. High-rise apartments nobody can afford, living in 15-minute cities. It's coming together.
One thing I will say about San Antonio…. It is BORING. Quite the super hot & humid desert with trees with construction EVERYWHERE lol
Hi Michael! First of all, thank you so much for all of the content on San Antonio! We've learned quite a bit by watching your videos. I see that you use a site that provides school lists/ratings on a map. Could you please provide a link to that website?
Glad it’s been helpful! The website is txschools.gov
This dude is clueless
Lol let’s hear it. Please explain.
All those people buying in the pop-up subdivisions (cheaply constructed) between NB and Seguin beware! Or anywhere off CR 1044. You are buying on farm land and I promise you your house foundation is going to shift so bad you won't be able to sell it. The other side of IH 35 toward the hill is all rock but the housing is much more expensive.
My hometown, it was a small time paradise thru the 80s, now I won't even go visit family there. It's horrible now. Breaks my heart.
Do you're wrong on supply we're at over 10,000 homes on the market which is an all-time high
Dude great video, what kind of shirt is that I know your bill but so am I 😅
I moved here 1 year ago... and boy the people are so freaking nice here... i absolutely love it... 1 problem... it gets hot as nuts in the summer
3:00 San Antonio is not the fastest growing city in America. The recent consensus which was in 2023 Says Atlanta, Forth Worth and Raleigh NC.
Great, fewer jobs and rent is gonna go up!
I’m getting ready to move to San Antonio and found your video on KZread I’d love to chat with you and see what I’d need to do as a first time homebuyer also my situation is complex so lmk if we can talk via phone call great video thank you 🙌🏻
Isn't san antonio one of the cities where home values are dropping due too the high amount of homes on the market
San Antonio is still ridiculously humid. As soon as you get to El Paso then you experience normal heat with the air being dry
Great video! Lived here my entire life. I love my city ❤
All these people moving here need to stop running from their problems bunch of cowards
Hello I am interested in more information on new homes
I'm from England, and planning to move to Boerne in 3 years. It looks perfect, but my one concern is how native texans will think of a foreigner moving to Boerne? If you're from there, please reply what you'd think, because I have read some comments on other videos and some people don't seem to want foreigners to come to their home (understandably), so I'm just wondering. Thanks
illegals and crime
Please dont move to Texas. Go back and fix the problems youve created🎉
Yea dude there is no “left” in Texas. If you think that is even remotely allowed to exist, then you must be a senior in high school.
I moved to San Antonio over 40 years ago. I love it here. The people are friendly, but the summers are no joke.
I moved to San Antonio about two years ago from Denver...I bought a new build for under $250K and I was super pumped haha. SA has a lot of good things going for it-primarily the people-they are the nicest I've encountered in a big city in the U.S....people say "have a blessed day" and randomly say good morning or good day and are really chatty and courteous. It's actually almost makes you feel like they want something from you lol but they are just nice like that. Traffic is easy to deal with in most parts of the city, the hike and bike trail system (which includes the RiverWalk) are pretty impressive, too. There are a few good museums and great food. The only negative I've found thus far is that it is so spread out, and if you are a single person trying to socialize and meet other professional, single people-it's hard to find them. I find myself going often to Austin or Houston to mingle and network with that demographic....otherwise, San Antonio is perfect if you have a family or are retired!
Wow, I had no idea that San Antonio was growing so fast. That is great news!
The company I work for has built 2 and is currently building a 3rd market rate apartment complex to be completed January 2025 in San Antonio. My wife and I will be transferring there in 6 months. We absolutely loved it !
Fabulous video and stunning homes, thank you!
I agree! You’re welcome. Thanks for watching. 🫡
Affordable......
Is $350k more affordable than $600k? 🤔
