    Sir, would you help me out with this question, power in the power curve is which power?I think there are several possibilities. 1 power absorbed by the blades; 2 output power of the generator 3 output power of the converter 4 output power of the transformer 5 power injected to the grid

  • @KumsWind
    @KumsWind4 ай бұрын

    electrical power output from the generator (or) convertor... that is power measurement before the primary of the transformer, thanks for shooting up this question.

    Sir 3 blad and 6 blad difference tell mee speed increase

  • @KumsWind
    @KumsWind2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Nagendra, 3 blade is much more stable and sufficient to have uniform torque. 6 blade will be too heavy rotor and needs more inertia to start rotation, also the cost of 6 blade rotor will be huge and not worth the spending.

    Hi Sir, All the videos related to wind turbines are very informative and clearly explained and it is helping me a lot to know about WInd turbines as i am working for one of Leading Wind turbine Manufacturers. Thank you so much for your effort you have been taken to prepare and present here. I Have a doubt in this particular session like i want to know more about FD and A&K paramaters like what is A&K and how this has been plotted which you have been explained in AEP Calculation. Thanks and Waiting for your response.

    Hi sir, pls tell us how blade is rotating in clock direction at running mode bcz at normal time we used to see it rotates on the opposite direction too..pls explain the concept

  • @KumsWind
    @KumsWind3 жыл бұрын

    hi rajesh, it depends on the airfoil shape, normally more of the wind turbines blades in todays generation rotates clockwise, when you see it from front of the hub. if you see it from the back that is from the nacelle side, it may look the opposite (anti-clockwise).... but in earlier times in early/mid 1990s there were few turbine models from USA which had anti-clockwise rotation.

    Tku for ur information sir. Plz explain abt blade pitching sir

  • @KumsWind
    @KumsWind3 жыл бұрын

    Hi Michael, Pitching is turning of the whole blade from root to tip along the blade central axis. this is done to achieve different angle of attach and maintain necessary lift in the blade and also to regulate the power beyond the rated wind speeds.

  • @KumsWind
    @KumsWind3 жыл бұрын

    Hi karthick, edgewise loads is due to the self weight of the blades and gravitational/rotational load, whereas flapwise loads is due to the wind forces.
