Welcome to my channel! I create videos about the Lego 12V Grey Era, which ran from 1980 to 1993. The 12V system had amazing features, such as electric points, functional signals, and even rare remote decouplers. A few of the trains released during this period remain some of the most iconic Lego sets of all time, such as #7740 Inter-City Passenger Train, or have gained cult status for their extreme rarity and price, such as #7750 Steam Engine. I post a wide variety of content, including official 12V set reviews, tips to maintain your 12V collection, and even montages of complex layouts. I love Lego 12V trains, and I hope you will too after watching my videos!

Great video as always
🥰😍🤩 ... nothing more to say...just love!😁
What’s the software you used to design the layouts?
I absolutely love it!
Spectacular (as always)!!! I'm seriously thinking about doing a 12V layout... Do you have any suggestions? Could you make a video about it? Technically I know the whole system very well (thanks to your videos). I'm talking about what you need to take into consideration before purchasing a set and things like that, ... Great job!!!!!😁
Nice really enjoyed the video.
🤩😍🥰
Another nice video! I’m looking forward to the night scenes
I absolutely love this!! A nice clean layout with great camera shots of all the action parts. Alas, too rich for my wallet, so I will live the 12v life vicariously here instead :D
Oh thats something new! As much as the music is so good in ur videos, this is also fantastic, to be able to listen the the clack-clack of 12V
just needed to see this, great lay out🤗😀
Can you make the 12V multi-track drift?
Nothing better than typical 12V sound
I bought the locomotive in Germany from a private sales exchange in the "Kleinanzeigen" for 70 euros without the motor and with the booklet 7777 when a collection was being cleared out. Unfortunately, I discovered that all the windows were red and had simply been painted over with black paint! Well, the supposed bargain was no longer a bargain! I then had to buy the missing windows + 30 euros extra. In total, I paid 100 euros.
The blue diesel is made for this work. Love it❤
Great video again Reker. Love the colour coded switches for the point motors and uncouplers. 7725, 7760 and 7727 run well. Loving the new steam loco too the articulated bogies go nice and smoothly through the pointwork. Great Job.
Please make a roundhouse👍👍👍
😍😍😍😍😍
Very nice, why do you have two controllers, is one just for powering the points, lights etc and the other the actual trains? I notice one does not have the dial to regulate the track current and train speed so assume you are using one just to control the trains and the other for the tyrack accessories etc? Look forward to some more details in future videos and narative on why you like this.
We are so back
Neat 😍
Nice! Looking forward to more layout 15 content
i love this, its basic shapes but you can tell exactly what it is. im not sure how to describe the effect :^).
I have no memory of this set, so I think I must've lost interest in the train sets just as it came out! I definitely remember the earlier set you showed, although I never had it. I can't really criticise anything about this set, but I definitely prefer the look of the earlier one. I don't know if that's because of vague nostalgia, a feeling that the earlier set looks like it gives you more "stuff", or its similarity to train stations that I was aware of as a kid!
Looking forward to it
Honestly, I prefer your videos without music: the sound of switches, brushes, ... ❤. Your custom train from the 7777 idea book is nice 😮
Ha, thank you! I will make versions of my layout videos without music from now on as well.
@@Reker1million If you are interested, I have made a sort or 12V system for PowerFunction trains. Due to my interests in electonics and in particular Arduino and networks, you can se what i made in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iI5rmKWOd7OzoNY.html. As you can hear, every train has a speaker and can play differents effects. It's not all manual, otherwise the fun would be lost. Enjoy it!😀 p.s. I've recently recived 7740 and now I need to converts to PFs system
Very good 🚂
HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE
Just pure love! 🥰
great trailer, hope to see it running 🤗😀
Oh yes, it is all coming together
Amazing!!!
Tease 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lovely!!😀😀
I’m looking forward to Monday than
I think it should be a Q&A and if you do it my question is are you going to get a 7819?
Those articulating wheels are crazy for the time!
7777 steam engine is really nice looking 12v locomotive
I always wanted to see this!
Wow. You got the 7777 just like i did a while ago😋 I think i still got a video on that...
I saw! Your version is without the expensive 80s parts but still looks nice!
@@Reker1million thanks! In that time i didnt have that much 12v as of now. Now i can complete the whole train with every right part! But i rather keep my 7750 intact😅
An iconic video 🚂
Reassembled my 7740 which had been at my parents place for 40 years - motor gears seem broken. Lights and wires missing . Instead of buying a motor i found the 7745 missing figures, instructions and box. I kind of have them both now 😅
Nice!
Wow $1300 is a big purchase but if it is sealed and brand new its a good investment but a bit pricey IMHO so personally I would part it out on Bricklink and select US sellers and see if you can get the parts you need to built it, I have done this for a few items that are super rare or difficult to find or just really expensive. Excited for the layout 15 🙂
Can’t wait to see layout 15. I also wanted to ask you a question as if I remember correctly you had a brand new unused sticker sheet for 7760. Are those hazard stickers on prism holders from it or you salvaged the one that were applied to 1x4 bricks and 1x2 modified bricks that you’ve bought along with other parts with stickers?
Hi! Great question - I have kept the new sticker sheet untouched. The danger stickers on the light prisms are salvaged from other parts, some from 7720 (same danger stickers). I had to cut some to size them correctly for the headlight bricks.
Nice to know that you’ve kept the sticker sheet untouched. Btw I also wanted to ask about stickers on 7727 doors. Did you replaced NS stickers with DB stickers or you bought extra doors with DB stickers on them and swapped them with ones that have NS stickers on them?
You could try to make a fast train running allong a straight. And i dont Think you have the baggage car for 7740
Looking forward to this! I agree with others, a live build with maybe some Q&A mixed in.
Can't wait to see that big boy in action.
Awesome! Looking forward to the layout 15. About 1k special obviously it's up to you, but personally I think that doing a live stream of building a lego 12v set and interacting with fans while doing so would make it much better. Getting sealed 7735 seems like a good idea, though it's so expensive that I think getting a copy of that set used in good condition is better option.
Yep! Leaning towards that live build and Q&A. I'll wait for a copy of 7735 in good used condition.
The 7735 is great train (and was my gateway to 12v) but it's not worth 1300$ even if it's sealed. Yea, it would be cool to be the one to open it, but when that's done it's not so special anymore. Do a live build and maybe at the same time a QnA as mentioned by @Theultimatefan783 .
Yeah 1300 is a lot. I'll probbaly do the live build and Q&A.
Lego should not be kept sealed for ever. Open the box! But then again, why would you buy a sealed set if you open it. Then buy a "cheaper" allready opend set and do that instead. Congrats on getting 1000subs!
Thank you! Yep that's what I'm struggling with...
