Thanks for your comment! It's important to note that depression and anxiety are distinct mental health issues, each with its own set of symptoms. However, they often coexist and can intensify each other in a cycle. In other words, when someone is dealing with depression, it can fuel anxiety, and vice versa. Recognizing this interconnected relationship is crucial for addressing the complexity of mental health challenges. Thanks for highlighting this point!

Thank you for your comment. In essence, high-functioning anxiety refers to individuals who outwardly appear to manage their lives well, but internally, they grapple with persistent worries and anxieties. It's valid to question the concept, but it's crucial to recognize that anxiety as a mental health disorder is determined by its impact on daily life. Anxiety, when it reaches a level that significantly interferes with daily functioning and wellbeing, is classified as a mental health disorder. And it's totally possible that you might just be dealing with depression, but it's important to note that anxiety and depression are often comorbid conditions, frequently coexisting. This dynamic leads to a cycle where the presence of one illness can exacerbate the symptoms of the other, creating a mutually reinforcing relationship!

@@Anxend_LTD Well die Thing is If i translate anxiety into German its "Angst" it means fear. I guess anxiety IS a Form of fear that causes panicattacks "fear dissorder" I'd call it. But Just the Word anxiety is weird to translate since those illogical fears are more of a Symptom. How ever there are anxiety dissorders them getting called anxiety isnt possible to translate Well.

Hello, you're absolutely correct. Anxiety can arise when we tie our self-worth to negative opinions from others. It's crucial to bear in mind that if someone isn't expressing kindness, it speaks more about them than about you. If you're uncertain about the severity of your anxiety, consider taking our free anxiety test today.
