The effective range of rge railun is basically the range where it can expect to hit. In space this basically means a range close enough your enemy doesn't have time to dodge or their evasive maneuvers take them away from where they were expected to be.

A already miss the show why cancel it am pretty sure there lord of the rings show is a flop yet they kept it there was loads of other shows they could have cancelled and kept the expanse running a love how they didn’t end it but left it open for the 30 year time jump hopefully they continue to season 7 at some point and pray they don’t consider a reboot

All of the space fights, and even physical, body to body fights as described in the books just go amazingly well in the show ! I actually feel shocked by this insanity of an accuracy that's being held on when it comes to these details ! I'm OMFG... I love this show and books and BTW, I'm at the end, THE END as in 2 chapters before the end of Leviathan's Fall right now and wooooow ! This is the best SciFi I've ever read/experienced !

I remember saison 1 episode 1 thinking "is this shit a Z Nation kind of show". I had to rewatch the first episode just after watching because i couldn't explain to myself what the actual fuck was happenning with the blue stuff and the bad lightning.. But here i am, 6 season later loving every part of it. To be fair about Z Nation tho, i kinda miss it

Nice video. However, you mention a Laconia spin off....you do know about Persepolis Rising, Tiamat's Wrath and Leviathan Falls? We don't need a spin off, we just need someone to make continue the TV show using books 7, 8 and 9......which are amazing by the way!

Well back in the good ol days, I assumed that some sort of spin off that takes place right after Book 6 could have been possible. I figured it would’ve been easier on the actors who don’t look like their 30 years older counterparts yet. But doesn’t seem like that’s ever gonna happen now 😭

At first I was irritated that they changed the Pella, but by being an alternate design for the Rocinante it still serves as as an evil twin to the hero ship. And it being a missile cruiser makes it dangerous but also the perfect foe for the Roci with its high PDC coverage. Quite a brilliant addition.
