huge difference and the remaster was pretty amazing work actually. I was playing it after the prime 4 reveal yesterday, i played till i got the varia suit i was so excited.

I played metroid prime a few years ago with my husband and fell in love with the series! The remake looks phenomenal and metroid prime 4 is going to be so good! I can't wait!

I don't like games that are TOO clear, looks more fake, better when the edges have a bit of blur like in real life, because in real life everything isn't that clear and well defined. I have this problem with modern movies too, I just don't like it as much, I can see it's all cgi and my mind just goes na. I do however like movies that are supposed to be artistic in an animated way and movies like the Matrix dealing with computer simulated reality, but the rest na Analogue ftw! 👍

Except it's absolutely nothing like that. Luigi's Mansion is following a coherent story from one game to the next and are different experiences each time.

It looks a lot better side by side but I think the main issue is that the animation is still fundamentally as limited as the 3DS. The rigs are all the same with the same reliance on alternating flat textures. The better models do a better job at hiding it, but you can still tell it wasn’t quite made for the Switch.

Dark Moon was my first Luigi's Mansion. I remember people didn't care for the mission structure or the lack of portrait ghosts, but the game's charm was enough for me to enjoy. This game with Luigi's personality is the reason I played to the end.

Much more of a glowup than I was expecting, even if you can still tell it was a 3DS game. The only thing I don't care for is the bright stitching on luigi's overalls, it's a little distracting, imo.

Ik I'm in the minority here but I actually love the entire ff7 remake project crisis core remake included, but the one think I do think the og crisis core has down is the art style with zack atleast. That's just my taste though. I also am a bit biased cuz my exposure to FF was kingdom hearts first and the color palettes are similar in that as they are in the psp crisis core. All things considered though I did enjoy crisis core for what it was since it was a psp game remade/remastered (I say that cuz I am unsure of the production of this game) for modern consoles and that's just beautiful in my book. Alot of people don't like remakes/remasters but they need to understand the majority of the younger gen is never gonna enjoy the older gen games as they are and see them the way we do because they didn't grow up with exposure to that era of gaming even though I love gamecube and gameboy advance games the gamecube games I love need upresd and hd texture packs for modern standards generally and that's ok that means I can enjoy them in all new light with more life breathed into them again, and with gameboy advance games not everyone likes pixel art like I do so some games get remade entirely in 3D and that's ok too. The preservation of old games need to be there and we for sure should have things like video game museums at some point in the future solely for gaming to show off our history, but to expect everyone to enjoy the same stuff we did in the low res, lack of antialiasing tech, low quality texture and poly models, and in some cases VERY dated gameplay (looking at you kingdom hearts 1 for ps2) is just unreasonable in every sense. BTW I'm a retro gamer I was born in the mid 90's and didn't own a modern console til like 2002 or 2003 I grewup early on with an atari 2600, NES, and Sega Genesis.

Grew up with the Gamecube version, and it'll always be my favorite. But it was a lot of fun playing the PS2 version since it's essentially the same game but completely different in several ways since the PS2 port had a completely different studio working on it compared to the GC/Xbox ports. Both are absolutely worth it, even if you've already played the daylights out of one version.
