  Hello, I have a question. I know the answer but I still want to ask you. I have a z97 motherboard that supports 3 x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots (x16, x8/x8, x8/x4/x4). I am very pleased with the performance of my system and I can play every game easily. I am 1080p 144hz gamer. I am currently using msi gtx 1060 6g and my graphics card is having difficulty playing games at ultra settings in some games. I don't want to build a new PC for now. But I want to buy MSI GEFORCE RTX 4060 Ti Gaming X 16GB. does it work? Do you think it will work fine at ultra settings if I install an RTX 4060ti?

  If you want to see 120-144 FPS in the latest games then you will need a more recent CPU to go with that GPU. CPUs have come a long way since 4th/5th gen. The latest AAA games are quite CPU demanding.

  I still regret that I got last minute cheap out on my ram last year. Got the Apacer DDR5 5200 16x2. Should have gone with the 6000 CL30 with just 15 bucks more 😆. Planning to get it soon with XPG Lancer Blade non-rgb. haha

  Surely there's not that much difference in performance between the two? Is it not worth upgrading the memory when you do your next big PC upgrade? Future CPUs will support faster memory and the memory itself will be cheaper.

  @iVadimUnbox ✨️I totally agree that the performance gained may not be much like 5 to 10 fps depend on the titles, but it is a nice squeeze upgrade & selling the old pair and topple the amount. also plan to up the game from 13100 to 13500 (6P8E/20T & still a 65W TDP based) for my Arc A750 LE, after the ram. I think this is in the plan and a significant upgrade! 😆 gaming and recording with QS AV1 (though nvenc av1 seems to have the quality edge), and video editing. 🐈 My next whole rig upgrade will probably be in 2 years from now, I think. Sitting on LGA 1700 atm 😅 Like your vibe and caring for the audience's hard earn cash per perf, V. 👌 legit!

  if you smelllll what Vadim is unboxing! The usual GB fan blades and heatsink set up. Though I kinda like they leave a space on the right backplate for ventilation, and I can see see the sink!

  😊 I think that NVIDIA is really onto something with these compact PCB designs that allow for that ventilation setup. I think that's why their founders edition cards are so good.

  Wow! That's a collectible at this point😀 Looking back at those graphics cards makes me appreciate how far cooler designs have come. Nowadays we can easily get a near-silent GPU that also looks good.

  Yes. But it may require a BIOS update if your motherboard comes from old stock with old BIOS version.

  1. Check that your RAM supports AMD EXPO. 2. Enable EXPO profile with desired speed. In your case that is DDR5-6000. The process should look something like this - kzread.info/dash/bejne/pXV8y8WGnMmwfbg.html

  Yes, the video is old. But process is similar to what you see in it. Enter BIOS and select EXPO profile that corresponds to your desired memory speed. If you have DDR5-6000 and want to enable that 6000 speed then usually it is Profile 1

  I'd pick the MSI option. It has better power delivery system, larger VRM heatsinks, WiFi & Bluetooth, and probably some other features advantages. I just don't want to dive deep into spec sheets.

  For sure. This MSI board can handle the most power hungry AMD chip 7950X. AM5 is a good platform if you value longevity. AMD said that they will continue releasing new CPUs for it until 2027+

  Hey bro, it's a nice cool looking new design for the gaming X series. Thanks for unboxing this, I am getting this model for RTX 4060 (or 4060 ventus 2x) - though it does not have those strips led RGB under the fans like this 4060ti. It's a bit expensive comparing to other 4060s in my country, but I think the cooling system could cool it effectively. Currently I'm using 2060 Ventus and it's getting hot and slow after 6 years of service.

  Have you replaced the thermal paste on that 2060 GPU? It surely has dried out which is probably the main cause of poor thermal performance. I haven't tried the 4060 Ventus 2X. So, unfortunately can't comment on it. It looks basic🙂 As for the 4060 Ti GAMING X: I've used it for a while and must say that I'm impressed with its cooler.   @@iVadimUnbox yes, i have. The last time I replaced thermal paste was mid-2023. Probably the fans got weaker and dry oil (don't know what word to describe this in English), but I think it's time to catch up with new tech and the gaming X design got me there :)

  Thank you! 🙏🏼 Crucial manufactures decent memory, and I like the aesthetic (I'm not crazy about RGB on memory), but the brand logo on those modules *should* be swapped with the other label. I can confidently assert that, if _I_ owned that particular kit, having to look at it that way would drive me bananas. 🍌🍌🍌

  It's up to the motherboard compatibility. Check compatibility list available on every motherboard manufacturer's official website. Usually you can find it in (Insert your motherboard model) -> Support -> Compatibility -> Memory

  If you watch Hardware unboxed this motherboard is actually on the top 7 coolest (as in VRM temp) AM5 motherboards as of now, and much cheaper as well. Asrock is so underrated man. I'm ordering this motherboard with Lianli case as of now and it's still shipping.

  I guess it is because it does not deliver all the necessary watts to the cpu, for ryzen 9 is better a motherboard of the B line onwards.

  It doesn't have a dedicated pump connector. You can use the CPU fan connector at the top.

  I don't think so. As long as you CPU gets the cooling it needs then there'll be no issues. I remember days when none of the motherboards on the market had a fan connector marked as PUMP and I used CPU connector to control my AIO liquid CPU cooler. It'll be fine. Just adjust your fan curve if cooling or noise doesn't feel right to you.

  No idea why tf a 3 slot card has the audacity to call itself "slim" 🤦‍♂ Guess I'll get the Inno3D "Twin X2" 4070TiS instead. Seems like it's the most powerful aircooled 2 slot card there is, other than the 4080 Super variant of it which is both out of my budget and a bit too long for my case (3 fans on the 4080S instead of two for the 4070TiS)

  Is kinda is slim in contrast to other massive 4070 Ti SUPER cards out there. Anything under 3 slots is an OK size in my opinion. If it fits in a medium-size PC then it's all good. Noise and cooling capabilities are more important than compactness.

  I don't thinks that's possible. There's no screw hole to attach the heatsink. I'd recommend buying an SSD that comes with a heatsink if you absolutely want one. Crucial has some good options with heatsinks attached out of the box.

  @@iVadimUnbox on the main m.2 slot I want use a natac nv7000, which comes with a big Heatsink that can't be removed. That's why I asked if it's possible to put it on the secondary slot instead of the main one.

  @@DarkFact00 I am using this board with ssd in secondary m.2 because I can remove it without removing gpu, and I do remove it occasionally for some testing. The only thing to keep in mind is that primary m.2 is pcie 5.0, while secondary is 4.0. But I'm using it with pcie 3.0 ssd, so it doesn't matter

  Yes, the i5 will be a good pair for this motherboard. As for your second question: both look good to me. Just buy the one you like more. Or whichever one is cheaper if budget matters to you.

  There is AMD EXPO version of Corsair RAM available. Unfortunately, the one you see in the video doesn't support EXPO. So, I had to switch it to Crucial kit that does support EXPO. You should check your memory kit. If it doesn't support EXPO then swap it for the one that does.

  It's Crucial Pro DDR5-5600. To my knowledge, all Crucial DDR5 memory kits support both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP at the same time. That's why I like Crucial memory. It is versatile.

  My thoughts on using this AMD GPU so far: It's great if you like playing games without upscaling or frame generation. Performance is smooth. And I like Radeon control panel and software. However, FSR is bad. I had to switch to Intel's XeSS just to make the latest games I play right now look somewhat palatable. I already miss DLSS.

  @@iVadimUnbox i use fsr only at 4k. i am fine with 80,90 fps at 1440p even 70 is great. DEgarding resolution to get 120fps makes not much sense to me in sp games. esc after playing mp games with 240fps when 120 feels same as 90, lame. But i also use controller for SP and mosu and keyboard for fast games.. FG when supported is on pair with dllss FG, try GoT..

  @@misterijaaaa i was thinking people in general. Rx6800 is the best budget 1440p GPU. I had it for couple of months but it wasnt mine so i had to return it and then i bought 7800xt but if rx6800 was mine i would still use it.. I had no choice other than 7800xt some 7 months ago. It was best buy new GPU back than, rx6800xt was few euros cheaper, 4070 100 euros more expensive..

  There's no going back. These products can't be that much cheaper. Sure, AMD and NVIDIA could lower their margins to make a GPU like the 7900 GRE cost $450-500 instead of $550. But times when the highest tier GPU used to cost around $600 are not coming back. And with the US-China-EU trade wars it is highly likely that we'll see prices go up even further in the future. June 15th is the date when new tarrifs go live in the US.

  @@iVadimUnbox I can understand inflation and everything but i am sure they have insane profit margins,BUT they can build prices only so far. I was out of gpu world for 3-4.years and when i started search what to buy....out of ignorance my first choice was 4060....until i found out how bad it really is with that pricing and that 8gb memory plus 128 bus. So my conclusion is nothing in 40 series is worth the price....amd is just slightly better so i went used last gen. If they continue with this my 6800 will run until it dies. Yeah majority of people are sheeps but i am not one of those....

  in horizon my 4070 1080p max out dlaa do double fps of 4060 ti 8g. anyway 80% of the time im out of 8g. with frame gen dlaa i do 160/180 fps. 8g version is a shitty card for her cost. anyway for try y can use low texture for up performance
