    If I have 5 case fans plus a 2x cpu aio will it work on this motherboard?

    i just got this mobo and i’m trying to use my thermalright aio cooler but i can’t the the header for the cpu pump. do you happen to know where it is or if it even has one?

  • @iVadimUnbox

    @iVadimUnbox

    It doesn't have a dedicated pump connector. You can use the CPU fan connector at the top.

    @@iVadimUnbox i did end up doing that but as i went to bios it didn’t give me an option to change that connection to pump. would this be a problem further down the line for cpu temps?

    I don't think so. As long as you CPU gets the cooling it needs then there'll be no issues. I remember days when none of the motherboards on the market had a fan connector marked as PUMP and I used CPU connector to control my AIO liquid CPU cooler. It'll be fine. Just adjust your fan curve if cooling or noise doesn't feel right to you.

    This is the only a620 motherboard availble in my country. so I live in a pretty hot country and I'm super skeptical about this motherboard I'm on a TIGHT budget but I want an AM5 build with the ryzen 5 7600 65w tdp and I'm in a dilemma between this motherboard right here and the b650m pg riptide for 40$ more which is a bit expensive but also the most affordable good one. what do you suggest me? thanks!!

    This mobo will handle the Ryzen 5 7600 with ease as it is a low-power CPU. Hot climate shouldn't be an issue. I don't think you'll get any significant value from getting the PG Riptide instead. Unless you plan on using your PC in some kind of extreme hot conditions that I cannot even begin to comprehend😀 Even ~30 C environment should be OK.

    @@iVadimUnbox thanks for reply vadim so yeah rn I have 2 options getting a 5600x with a TUF B550 plus Or a ryzen 7600 65w tdp with the A620 pro rs? what do you recommend ? and yes the climate is pretty hot here around 30-40° in summer although it gets down to 10-5° in winter

    Depends on your needs. The 7600 will be useful for longer than the 5600X. But even the 5600X remains a very nice budget-friendly option. Especially if you plan to get something like RX 6600 XT GPU. But if you are getting a better GPU then it is worth going for the Ryzen 7600 to unlock all the performance you GPU is capable of.

    hi there, thanks for the review! have you found any issues so far? i am/was planning to get either the A620 Pro RS Wifi or the B650 Pro RS Wifi, but you can't find content about them anywhere, and the B650 version has only 2 not so good reviews on newegg.

    I didn't have a chance to test it as I don't have a Ryzen 7000 CPU. Unfortunately, can't help you with that. However, I don't see why this would be a bad product. I've had multiple ASRock motherboards in my PCs over the years and they've never disappointed me. Of course, past experiences are not a guarantee that future products are going to be good. Just curious, what kind of issues are you worried about?

    Well... Any product from any company has the potential to be faulty out of the box or fail soon after you start using it. 1-2% defect rate is considered to on the low side. That is why all companies include warranty with their products. Because it is necessary as it is impossible to catch 100% of defective products via quality control. So, it doesn't really matter what brand you choose. The risk is still there. If I were doing what you plan to do I'd make sure to keep the receipt in case I have to use manufacturer's warranty. But I wouldn't worry about it too much. Getting a defective new PC parts is like winning a lottery = highly unlikely. I've had my hands on dozens of PC components over the years and didn't come across a single one that was defective.
