I am doing the same thing that Maria did. I am trying to build a relationship with my customers at Dunkin Donuts. Also, I am trying to learn their orders quickly, and I am trying to find creative methods to upsell the product and myself. This Dunkin Donuts job can turn into a bigger opportunity if you met the right person.

I think that to get to this place where you can be unaffected when people are pushing and pushing... you have to ask yourself a question: Why are these people afraid? Because happy people don't hurt other people. What scares those people....? Be curious to understand their point of view and you will stay unaffected ;)

It's weird to listen to this. Cause it's just like i really don't think i can believe it tbh. I get everyone got their own lives and problems but as someone who cared alot and at one point was on their deathbed and kinda got "lucky" with a second chance but had to be the one to put myself back together mostly with no support or even anyone to talk too. Idk man, i kinda just lost my trust in the idea that people can care about me or that relationships are even worth it tbh. Maybe just never ACTUALLY had one where someone genuinely cared about my life or well being so i don't know. But honestly now kinda just too scared to try. Just to painful to think that if i get close to someone and something happens to me it'll just be me again dealing with stuff. Rather just go it alone then pretend i have a team Kinda feels like this really only works long term if the people involved would be willing to be there for each other in the little moments as well as the big moments but also taking care of themselves too. Otherwise i don't think it's sustainable
