My problem with Nemu is that her design looks like a mis-match of all sorts of things.
This was my first introduction to Magical Girls, I loved it- until I saw the pilot episode and just ran away to Madoka Magica.
Stacey and Raven wouldn’t last long with the Suzune Magica designs

On top of that, there are the Tart Magica, Oriko Magica, and Kazumi Magica girls that you all have to do!
I love Homura and Madoka. These shows did that one dirtyyyyy. Well written without fan service? Yes, please. I wish there was more creativity without having all the fan service for children. I'm the same as you, I used to think it was just normal as a child and then, as an adult, saw how disgusting these writers really are. They're just neets who are horny for children and will try and appeal to the same type of people, which makes me incredibly sad to see. There are so many amazing Anime without fan service like Madoka Magica, Erased, Anohana, etc. Why do they even have to add any of those types of shots when we have such great storytelling without making people feel uncomfortable because we know what kind of people those shots were made for? Especially now that I have a child, it truly sickens me how they even think about appealing to them.

I remember watching glitter force as a kid and even i wondered why the animation quality of the end got a random downgrade. Currently watching through og smile precure rn
Ironically for Doki Doki the ending songs were just straight up recomposed versions of the original Japanese tracks because if you slightly alter their pitch and add the precure part all of a sudden they're basically just English versions of the og songs. Also apparently happiness charge was gonna get the glitter Force treatment too which is kinda weird because that was the anniversary season so how the hell would they have explained who all those other cures who appeared at the beginng of each episode.
The Happiness Charge dub seems to be just rumors. I highly doubt Saban was ever planning on dubbing it.
@@Violentinthedaylight But considering the fact Saban was dubbing seasons starting from smile it's obvious they were dubbing the most semi recent seasons at that time which wouldn't really make any sense. I still never understood why Saban didn't just dub the most recent airing season at that time go princess which would've made more sense.
@@Violentinthedaylight ironically they're was another rumor that both heart catch and fresh were supposed to get dubs as well but instead of calling them precure or glitter Force it was called card players which is ironic and weird that the actual card motif season wasn't called that. Although I still wonder why glitter Force was almost called gangam girls..
@@Al17x Just because Saban dubbed SMile/Doki Doki doesn't mean they were planning to dub every season post 2012. There's no physical proof they were ever starting a Happiness Charge dub---plus Toei took back the GF trademark in 2018, so I doubt Saban had any plans to produce more dubs (and if they did, nobody continued them). As for the Fresh/Heartcatch dubs, that's definitely a rumor. I've never seen any proof proving that to be legit.

Happy Sugar Love is about the concept of what is Love and how do you perceive it. The terrible people are showing love the only way they know how. It's not for everyone and it's understandable that some of the choices are questionable at best but it's not a terrible show by any means it's just not everyone's cup of tea
The designs are the only good thing about this series, EVERYTHING else sounds like it was written by a VERY horny, oversized, sweat and oil covered, heavy breathing, fedora and trench coat wearing, katana wielding, middle-aged "Nice Guy" who's first words to a woman or girl is "Greetings, M'Lady" and just stalks the nearest "Pretty thing" to be a dirty minded creepy pervert to! If someone decent actually rewrote the series to MAKE it interesting, WITHOUT the numerous fanservices, fleshed out the characters and actually made the plot sound good, THEN we'd have an actual good magical girl series. But until then, this sounds like a "Nice Guy" fan fic aimed at p*dos and weirdos.

There's an anime movie called the glassworker and the trailers seem to show some glass-working stuff. Maybe that will be more to your interests.
I watched this like four or three years ago (im 12 btw) and I genuinely forgot that glitter force had dance scenes, and I remembered it that way until now, probably because I first watched doki doki and then glitter force... Someone plz send a link to watch Pretty Cure 🤠
One thing I feel bad is that cure march is so alone in these glitter flop endings

Well, what can I say? Every masterpiece is flawed in its details. But the overall impression that this anime has left me was unfairly violent. I've watched this anime like 3 years ago and its ending has been haunting me ever since. I have to admit, I was and still am a teenage boy that gets impressed by many things. But this anime's story, character relations, tension and the ending... It creates a bold and unique piece of work that is unique and doesn't look nor feel like anything else. I know Satou is a psycho who loves a little girl she kidnapped, but I accept it because it gives her a flaw. I won't say this anime has a perfect pacing or character growth. But it surely has left a mark on my heart and memory. Or, should I say, a scar.

@@CakeoftheMews yay! This is just a suggestion but I'd love a video on your thoughts on the classic series like Cutie Honey or the Studio Pierrot Magical girls like Creamy Mami. Honey especially is interesting with her being a fanservice character but also being incredibly strong and badass with all the men being damsels. IDK seems like it'd be up your alley with analysis and all. Either way I will be tuning in :D

I tried watching Cutie Honey Universe when it was airing but I kinda got bored. Apparently a lotta people felt the same way. I'll def watch it one day, though! Idk which series, but I bed it'll be fun regardless~
@@CakeoftheMews oh yea no Universe was ASS. Re: is definitely the fan favorite and I get it the animation is peak but I think the best Honey installation is Shin Cutie Honey in the 90s. Honey has some really cool forms in it and the villain designs are cool. And I love that 90s art style. Sorry for the ramble ahah, but yea keep up with spreading the magical girl agenda!

This series is an train wreck with no idea of plot structure yet is captivating to watch, truly the most disasterpiece anime of all time.
the designs feel like they peeked into precure all stars with one eye closed and follow the "different designs rulesets" but left the "but still able to blend with others surprisingly nicely" and ran with, whatever they need to follow Seinen and Gacha genre fanservice guideline

@@jaydenjohnson4221A.) because most people who watch bad shows go into them thinking they will be good, or at least with the basic expectation that they will be well written/enjoyable, and it can be satisfying or cathartic to let out the frustration from a show you were interested in being bad by analyzing or talking about why that was. And B.) Sometimes watching things that are badly written or otherwise badly made can be fun! Especially if you're a creative, in which case it can give you a unique look into ways the creative process can go wrong so that you can avoid or work around them on your own projects. (Those are just two common reasons I can think of off the top of my head, people watch and talk about things for a very wide variety of reasons and I can't hope to cover the entire scope of that in a youtube comment, lol!)
