As much as I am a filthy SP hinge apologist, I liked this design and it really came together at the end. Admittedly, I can't remember if I saw your content or not before, so my hope was an out of the box solution to the bottom loading for the GBA SP that was more GBC in nature, but it's a good entry level introduction to SP modding. Fair warning about the next generation though. The tech got much, much smaller.

I mean, im not an expert end every one on reddit would call me crazy... But!: i completly ripped out the cover above the ram and now i never hear the fan spin up. It is only to protect the die on pysical harm because this console is made for kids. But it actually hurts cooling. I put the heatpipe directly on the die. The i put k5 pro between heatpipe and the last shielding. Pls try it😅

Dude, how can you possibly call the GameCube modern. It's 23 years old. The GameCube is older now than the Atari was when the super Nintendo came out.

Tip for people following at home: I have some 8 year old hue lights and you can easily connect them to a Zigbee 3.0 hub, so instead of "breaking into" their walled garden, you just use a skeleton key. I don't know if you can still do that with newer hue lights, but I don't see why not.

I actually love my OLED Switch as it is, it plays all the games I have perfectly. My one complaint is the SNES virtual console don't have games I really want like Lufia 2 and there isn't any way to play DS or 3DS games on it but those are minor complaints.

i love that this channel just has the final thoughts and improvements section. This is something many people are just missing but its always important to learn from failure and make it part of the process, even on fantastic builds. Failure is something we can learn from each other and the more open we are, and information about those failures we spread the more others can learn. Its the main reason i really enjoy watching this channels content.

Yes, Atmos added to a console will likely work with every single game because the positional audio that Atmos has, has been done in video games for decades, all that is needed is to encode the output in the Atmos format.

I would love if Sony started up the ps2 manufacturing again. Just add higher quality moving parts, and lens. This way we can keep playing our ps2 disks and not deal with old hardware. I imagine it would be popular.

what I'd have done, would be trying to map the link port onto the usb-c cable, which yes, wouldn't exactly be usb-c spec compliant, but I think it should be fine, since you need to complete a handshake before any of the advanced functionality can be used anyway, in usb-c, so it shooould be fine then you can have a dongle, because indeed, not having it permanently attached lets you slim the case ....or you could just use like, any widely available connector, even down to just a bunch of pin headers, lol

This video had me chuckle lol If you want to increase performance on your ally. in Smokeless, you'll need to mess with the CPU and memory frequency; mainly memory from my testing with AMD gpu's by accessing AMD CBS > UMC Common Options > DDR Common options > DRAM Timing Configuration.

"I don't know why my living room feels so cramped"... mmmh, maybe the massive L shaped 80s style couch? Maybe the massive coffee table too? Both in already a tiny living room. Just hints... Then proceed to replace a coffee table that cramps the space...with another coffee table that cramps up the space... and leave the massive potato couch 🤣

  • @williamshevr

Permanent coffee table has to be the most useless piece of furniture ever. I don't get why people buy them, it makes a huge clutter in the living room. Colored LED in the living room, especially when they are everywhere where they don't fit (like under a cofee table or behind the TV for example) look quite awful too. I'd rather have a white classy accent.

Should get some of the holographic textured build plates. They get the holographic look just because of the angles in the texture and how light bounces off. That way whatever u print on them get that holographic look on their finish free of charge. Pretty cool i think.
