From my (admittedly) novice point of view, it would seem that any respectable "vocal coach" would be able to realize within seconds that they're listening to something absolutely extraordinary and exceeds their ability to adequately analyze, and so would just sit back and take in the pure genius of the song and then just acknowledge it as such. To me, any other response can only be construed as ignorance, incompetence or arrogance.

Im fairlybsure someone, one of the Pentaholics, has already informed you .. Avi Kaplin, second singer, that it is his natural voice in the key he is singing in. He was the groups original base singer with very wide key range abilities. From low E base up to tenor.

Something interesting I heard about this song. On the line where Geoff sings “She will be mine or she (up an octave) will (up another octave) burn,” the person singing it for the movie couldn’t get that high and asked them to change it to make it lower. Instead, they showed him how to expand his range and hit that note. Now Geoff, VoicePlay’s bass, hits that note and then goes even higher!

Im no professional myself. You seem fairly knowledgeable in regard to vocal coaching, but damn its annoying when you stop the video every 15 seconds and then talk for a minute straight... at least let it run a little longer

I have heard many great vocalists over the years but after listening to this woman, I have come to the conclusion that Lara Fabian is simply the best of the best. She's the ruling Queen.
