If you use that thing to defend yourself, you will likely get seriously injured by the gun itself. That’s an absolute monster of a gun.

The problem with 45-90 is that it only benefits if you load black powder. If you use smokeless then a 45-70 will have the same maximum load as a 45-90 and both will not be able to use the full capacity of the cartridge. The old 45-xy Case where made for black powder and smokeless can't benefit from the larger capacity of a 45-90 , 45-100, 45-110 and the 45-120

I slow it down And you barely miss your head You didn't control it That's too much for That bore axis, At least for you. More weight And a lower bore axis Like a superredhawk or an x frame.

Amazing. I had a #1H in .458, reloaded and shot a lot, could shoot about 10 before shoulder hurt. Got scared of highly compressed powder charge, so rechambered for .450 Dakota. Hurt so bad I could only fire 2 shots. Wanted to reload with mild loads, bever got around to it. It was super accurate.

Again, can you PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE USE HARD CAST BULLETS??? Soft cast flat nose bullets deform the nose, then the bullet automatically loses its penetration ability. All the loads for dangerous game with these handguns are done with flat nosed bullets that are either hardcast to keep their shape and penetrate deep, or they are copper solids, or brass solids. So can you re-do these tests with the correct bullets which will penetrate much deeper than these soft cast bullets did. Using hardcast is using realistic ammo. The 475 Linebaugh is known for extreme penetration and it would not surprise me if it would out penetrate the 500 Linebaugh Maximum if hardcast bullets were used in each. Give us a real test, PLEASE!!!

Yeah it has a 500 magnum case so more powder more power and speed there’s also a 357 maximum I just knew about these maximum bullets lol (correction): it does not use 500 magnum case it just makes the casing longer and that’s it

hey TJ. thanks for your comments. my shoulders and my upper body are quite fine in spite of that harsh recoil. the key element with such recoil is your stance and moving with the rearwards recoil motion as you watch me do in my videos and it's critical not to fear these weapons nor their harsh recoil so I suppose I'm blessed with the ability to tolerate such abuse yet I've never hurt myself during R&D. Thanks for watching. Avi

After sighting in at 60 feet, I could easily cover 5 shots with a nickel kzread.infoUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL ! Truly a pleasure to shoot! Scope was easy to adjust for eye relief. Only problem the varmints must have seen it delivered lol!Update: So impressed with shot groups at 30 yards I purchased a Hammers 3×9 with adjustable Objective scope! Now a true nail driver!

Are those gloves or wrist braces??? Jeepers that’s an awesome gun. Woodleigh makes some good stuff, glad to hear they’re back at it slowly but surely after the fire. They’re all quite different from each other but I’m a fan of woodleigh bullets of Australia, hammer bullets of Montana USA, and chinchaga billets of Alberta Canada. All independent family owned companies not affiliated or bound to big corporations, all making top notch products with great customer service. 3 great companies from 3 great countries 🇦🇺 🇺🇸 🇨🇦

Such a badass moustache is complimented nicely by some badass rifles 😁 That ruger number 1 must be a good bit lighter as it absolutely looks like the more intimidating rifle to shoot as far as recoil goes.
