I'm honored to hear from you sir. these lever actions are probably the best dangerous game rifles though for close range and do hold 7 - 8 rounds & certainly will last a life time if not abused or fed high pressured hyper velocities ammunition now available. mine was built by Ben Forkin custom classics. wish mr Harold could see haw popular his cartridges came to be with folks like me displaying such rifles for people to witness. Wonder how much more that Marlin can handle before busting. By my research, it seems the 1892 John Browning actions were the strongest. One example is the less refined Rossi R92 Puma, which for a while they chambered the .454 Casull which maxes out at 60,000+ psi. The .50 Alaskan much be running pressures in the 30-40,000 psi range?

Hello Avi @ 1tufgun: You don't appear to be a small framed guy, yet I thought I saw you noticeably compensate to maintain your balance by leaning forward with your off-hand stance during the first four shots using the Woodleigh 500-grain Copper Jacketed 90% Copper/10% Zinc hybrid varietals leaving the muzzle at ~1,700 F.P.S. as the video was forward perspective orientated; but the second barrage using the Reece's 650-grain Flat Nose Lead varietals was perspective oriented from behind the shooter and although you were still noticeably "rocked" it was hard to compare the punishment between ammunition types as I would typically expect the heavier grain ammo to boot just that little bit extra, except those were just old fashioned lead rounds that I couldn’t find any information on. I did notice MIDWAY sells the Woodleigh in boxes of 25-each for $32.99 which is kind of cool as most rifle ammo is sold in boxes of 20-each. Still, it looks like a bit much for a late bloomer such as myself, so I’ll just have to stay put and be happy with my 45-70’s. So after firing 8-rounds of .51 bullet diameter ammo, how did the shoulder look about two days later, were you still able to easily reach the top shelf of the kitchen’s pantry? Avi, you are as tough as nails.

Are the rifle and the cartridge still manufactured or are they obsolete ?
Nice gun.
The .348 Winchester cartridge case was derived from a .50 caliber black powder cartridge. So really, it is just returning to its own beginning. Funny how life moves in circles.
Did you get that gun built from the ground up or did you supply the rifle and he converted it? Ps you’re great
I was hoping he would say it's perfect for the most dangerous game - *humans*

no, showers only use domesticated water, if it were wild water it would be a horrible way to die.

How do they compare to a 12 guadge slug as to recoil
Wait a minute. I have that exact shirt, nice.
Gotta love it. Makes the .500 S&W look like a bitch.
i would love to have this caliber in a BFR

Is it me or am I watching two different personalities on camera lol. Homie can switch to shooting mode in a instant
That had to be the most awkward looking shooting I’ve ever seen, but this dude is still awesome.
Avi, is that a converted 336 or 1895, and by who? Thanks
