Two childhood mates from the wilds of Hampshire, UK with a shared love of affordable yet awesome motors from the 1990s and early 2000s. Your hosts Mart and Arch, also have a common appreciation of a fine-fitting gilet.
We've known each other for over 35 years, so things might get a little familiar...
What is The Road Worriers channel? Well, mostly car videos, sort of a vlog, sort of other random stuff...always effortlessly cool cars that punctuated our youth: not just BMWs mind, but classic Saabs, Mercs and all the very best from an era when the car you drove REALLY mattered and Haddaway ruled the airwaves.
If in any doubt, the 'Worriers' part points to the ever so slightly amateurish and naively cavalier approach to mechanics and car ownership/maintenance.
The Roads Worriers current release schedule: will change depending on various factors! Currently a video a month.

Thank you for your content, it helps me for my touring 320i project👍🏼
Great to hear!
Definitely thinking slow and steady with traditional brush-on evostick type contact adhesive is the way to go, certainly on the curved bits 😅
ive been there done that and what a nightmare of a job and still not fully happy with them to this day i used vacuum bags to help compress it all but still got creases but maybe does look abit better than before well thats what i keep telling my self anyway 🤣 great to have you back btw keep the videos rolling in ☺
I want to buy one in Holland. 200k kilometers 328i. Auto. Euro 3750,-. Question is should i? Loving the videos!
That's only 124K miles, plenty of life in that car. If you like autos, go for it, you can always fit a manual later on. I prefer manuals personally, but these are getting so rare you should snap it up. Loving the Touring so far, it's a real joy to drive, zero regrets about getting it - in fact, life without a Touring is hard to contemplate. The extra load space is useful, last week I picked up some new wheels and tyres.
Cant believe this is your first video. All the scenes, well planned, filmed, driving scenes, B-roll and everything. Feels like I'm watching a tv show. Keep it up :)
Thanks a lot, that means a lot to us!

Another great video mate keep up the great contents
Unless you use DAP HHR contact adhesive that is heat resistant the headliner will start sagging as soon as it sits outside on a hot day. The first BMW E46 I ever restored I tried doing the headliner myself and it looked great until I parked it outside for a couple of hours on a hot day. The headliner started coming down near the rear windshield. After that I just removed the headliner and took it to my local upholstery shop and I noticed they used DAP HHR. They charged $400 and provided the matching headliner material. Since then I've had them so several headliners and never had one come down. I hope you fellas have a better outcome. I don't think its the effort but the glue that will let you down.
You are 100% correct. Trimfix is supposed to be heat resistant but it will fail, as it did on the coupe. It should last a couple of years though. When we redo the interior for the final time, in beige/tan leather, we will redo it and use either 3M 90 spray adhesive or contact adhesive, as you suggest. Just needed to get it respectable…for now.
Oh that was easy.
Great video chaps 👍
Hi there gents, if thinking about refreshing the stereo... How much for this stock radio ?
Hi there, no afraid we’ll be keeping the stock business radio as it’s pretty rare and anything modern won’t be as classy. The other one, the coupe, has a 1990s Sony XR-C210 MKII which is period correct and are much cheaper and easier to get second hand on EBay, a top tip for you if you’re having trouble finding a decent 1990s head unit.
another great video loving the banter 😃 next thing you need a carphone like mine 😆
Good video, made me chuckle (to me, to you). M pleasant surprise on Pete boot struts still keep the boot up. Keep up the good video ad content

Thanks so much, that means a lot to us! Welcome aboard. It's a lot of work to create these vids but immensely enjoyable and plus these cars 100% deserve to live, in fact I'm seeing more and more of them as people check out of the madness and just appreciate a cheap, simple, enjoyable motor.

Inspiring
Nice put together video I’ve recently bought a E30 316 coupe that I’m wanting to put a 2.8 engine in her
You must have seen the Spanner Rash channel right? He’s just done that with a full series of comprehensive videos @spannerrash.
@@TheRoadWorriers no I haven’t I’ll check it out thanks
No matter how many products I have used, the Halfords Bumper/Plastic paint has always been the best. That plus headlight polish, two of the most satisfying titivation jobs you can do on a car. Infinitely jealous of your facilities! I'd kill for a Lawn mower wheel delivery service....
Too right! Upol was ok but Halfords is better.
He will insist it’s a lawn tractor, naturally…but the pedant in me taunts him that really it’s a lawn mower without the mower deck. 😉
I think the isn’t 1998 it’s preface lift 1993-94
Nice car
