I say put the Kara-Tur book out. Recent history has proven the more people that are offended by a product, the more it sells. Put the other settings out in 5e as well.
Some good point made in this videos. A few other thing regarding the live show. First, they need to give the fans more time to plan before the show. They only gave us a little over a month to make plans to travel to the show. I need 6 month at least if I am going to have to take time off work and scrape up the money for ta=raveling. The other thing is they had this show and the Bells Hells live shows too close together. They need to spread the live shows apart more. I can afford one of them, but not both and I don't want to have to choose which one I can attend. I'd like to go to both. But I need more time to work out the logistics.
LMAO, after six years? More likely, since DMing is an active practice, Brennan wrote all that in because of her reaction… Tell me you don’t understand D&D, without telling me you don’t understand D&D.
The only reason why they keep dragging things out is because the players are having fun which is and it has always been the main reason they play D&D. The fans know this and is one of the reasons they remain. Amount of viewerships always fluctuate but it remains within the same amount of thousands. They are on the moon already btw
I had no idea that was Damien lol 😮
Glad to see he too is a fan of the chicktodes
This is gonna be even worse that the last season. But people will still watch it.
I love how the dude looks like he was made in a factory, but is still just a normal nerd bro at heart. What a lad can't wait to see his warhammer 40k show
i love that old classic 80's nostalgia stuff, and for those that don't know it, they won't care anyways because the characters are all still cool/fun looking
gonna be another evil DEI sh*tshow
Would love to se him playing some Warrhamer <3
He's so kind, geek and passionate, I love him. The world needs more Cavill.
They all look great, but I miss fjord’s beard
It's Molly's damn coat. That's why it is taking so long.
My brother and loved the character Vincent! That’s amazing! 🤩
I like the show, but I’m still disappointed once month when I forget there is no C3 episode
I do believe CR has peaked in their cultural reach, but that is not a negative. What I appreciate about the company is they have not pulled a Rooster Teeth, and tried to expand that reach by selling out. They have their audience, their consistent flow of income, and are happy with that. They are not willing to sacrifice their artistic integrity for more money. Yes, their show will bring in more fans, but not much in the larger scope. They are normalizing a steady income and not exponential growth. If it does grow than it would be natural, not artificial.
I just started watching Critical Role because of Viva La Dirt League... but i have no idea about all this peripheral stuff. Someone just told me to start off with CR's 2nd campaign. So I have no idea who these people are, what their backstories are, why they keep popping up in segments about voice acting... 99% of my feed is a mystery to me now. Arent they just normal people playing DnD?
I assume that "magic and stuff" is just more boring 5e? Might be interested if they ran 1e or 2e instead and maybe even in Dark Sun or Dragonlance. Looks like more "only play <current version> bots".
Some stories shouldn’t have fan fiction and Lord of the Rings is number one on that list. The entire series was crap. Just grab the characters and the world go to town and call it a story. Its truly sad it would even be made, much less have fans.
After Starfield I don't even want to buy tes 6. It probably will be a huge disappointment and for sure won't lif up to the huge expectations.
Candela is AMAZING…. It doesn’t need saving
Biggest fantasy game of the decade? Yeah right.
Imagine getting this after the warhammer and amazon drama... damn i hate big corpos. .
"liam is the only one playing a serious character" dont tell this guy about marisha
I have listened to CR for the last year and I’m not caught up yet. I’m C3 and I enjoy the story. Some things I don’t like sure, but the story is what this game is about and they tell a good story.
I love the work they put in. However, I've read the core rules book and the live shows are moody...but...the LORE of the world, Newfaire, Oldfaire, the War, and how the bleed snd magic permeate the world is incohesive. We get the eldritch fear of yhe unknown part but what the hell is going on? How do all these people fit it and I'm not talking about just the player characters. Liam's session zero episode explains the PCs well but how is it part of the setting? Why should we care about CO vs. Other factions and the rest of Newfaire? Why should we CARE? I hope they create a series that helps watchers to CARE about this world.
after a similar video I stopped playing BG3 (not a joke)
Ancient news
I was expecting a less positive take, but what I found was suggestion I felt were genuinely meant to help it survive and thrive. I think I'd check out more CO if they followed these suggestions.
It’s all improv, but I was forced to be a goblin because of this?
I don’t care about this, nor do I understand what’s going on.
Warhammer is unplayable. Everything stuns you, and there is not much variety of monsters. 1st edition AD&D is far far better.
He's a nerd
Par for the course. WotC creates very little for D&D. Even though they've owned the game for as long as TSR did, most of what they produce is just a rehashed version of something they bought from TSR.
Tom BOMBACLAAAAAT
Ed Greenwood had nothing to do with Kara-Tur.
Go for the eyes boo
Same. They're hot garbage since the codex came out, but I love my custodes collection. Hopefully we get fixed in the future.
As long as the art is better than what was on the original covers it's ok.
Answer no it doesn’t matter
Don't fool yourselves about trying to entice the old-schoolers. They showed how much they wanted our business when they stabbed us in the back with 4th Edition. Nobody I've gamed with ever showed any interest in the action figure line, and the cartoon was cool as a novelty, but it was for little kids, not hardcore gamers. Quick trivia fact: They cancelled the D&D cartoon because they said it promoted violence, and they replaced the time slot with . . . wait for it . . . Big Time Wrestling!
😂❤👏👏👏
Let me say yes and for those in the back of the room…YES!! This art is on point, the theme is bang on. It’s the 50th Anniversary of D&D. Modernization of the old images is the right play.
0:14 You have the double hammership wrong in your picture. You have done two hammerships at ninety degrees, but Django said the ships meet at the gravity plane. From the side it should look like you are seeing the hammership reflected in the surface of a sea. I think this is Django extrapolating out the Armada Buster variant, from the original 2e Spelljammer boxed set.
I don't know what sort of stuff Django Wexler wrote for his 2nd Edition or 3rd Edition Spelljammer campaigns, but - if he doesn't want to convert it to 5e and sell it on DMs Guild, I'd love to be able to publish some of it in the free Spelljammer fanzine, Wildspace.
I personally enjoy the c3
Why do they continue with rings of power. Its total shit in every way possible 😂
