I have cerebral palsy and I’m 14 years old and I do HBOT. 7 years to start walking with HBOT you could get there way quicker. You have to do it once to twice a day. You could get there with HBOT in 8 weeks or less if you did it once to twice a day. I’m not trying to be rude but I’m doing it once to twice a day and I’ve done about 45 dives I’m seeing almost the same level of results so far in 55 days. If anyone had a stroke or anything else it’s so important to do HBOT as frequently and consistently as possible to get the full healing. The amount of sessions someone needs to be healed depends for anyone but if you want an answer it can go from 3 dives to 200 dives usually but it’s around 40 to 80 but it depends. But I have never heard of anyone go much over 200 dives. I would say anywhere over 150 dives is someone who has something like severe cancer or something.

That looks dangerous. The pants and underwear will get soiled and you can’t pull them back on properly. Plus you have to bend down to grasp the pants to pull them and their bare bottoms will have to touch your chest because they’re dangling in the air. In healthcare there aren’t enough staff to be able to take time to do this. Way more assistance is needed. I know this means well but 😒

My room is not enormous but it's just long enough to walk back and forth. Rls at home can be attended to quick. The problem is when you are in a car, plane, bus, work. I just go to the bathroom and start punching my legs every day. Cbd oil helps me sleep at night. It's the only temporary cure I have found.

I have been waking up every day with trembling vision, and it is notorious when I look at white surfaces. After a few minutes the vision is better and it's not shaking. I went to the ophthalmologist and he prescribed me a magnesium food supplement to take for 1 month, however, I did not notice any differences. Can I have a serious illness? Could it be cancer?

Some states consider side rails a restraint. I don't know why but it is what it is. Then add dementia patients to the mix, it's a challenge. Although this video is somewhat accurate, it all depends on the resident's conditions.

It's the getting up and moving that helps calm the RLS. But the problem isn't in the legs. You can also get the same the symptoms in your arms as well. It's brain-related. The one thing that I can use when it gets real bad is L-Dopa, the dopamine agonist they use for Parkinson's. But if you stay on this treatment for a while it tends to have a rebound effect which makes it worse.

You are sooo right when you say its a brain issue, and not a mind issue. I have had it for 35 years. When I drink soda it makes my symptoms 10 times worse. I belong to a group on Facebook and a lady mentioned that she took ropinerole at one time and it made her symptoms worse. She said it has taken her over a year to get it out of her system.

  • @jamiethomas4079

@@susanspatz9501I've been taking 4mg of requip every night for over 10years now. It's the only thing that allows me to sleep. When I first started taking medication I tried mirapex which didn't work. Which is slightly different than requip. I think one works for some people and not others. I really don't think my symptoms are worse because of taking requip. But everyone is different. There is a guy in colorado doing nerve decompression surgeries in people's legs that sounds promising. I too also get it in my arms occasionally. My understanding is that your brain uses dopamine to inhibit motor control when you are sleeping. It's how you can run in your sleep but not run in waking life. As you enter a resting state your brain uses different pathways for this. And those pathways are messed up in some way. Maybe dopamine doesn't bind to them well enough or theres not enough dopamine to stop the movement. I don't run in my sleep, just saying that pathways are similar. I'm not a neurologist, just my limited understanding of the problem. There's also this disconnect with understanding if someone has primary rls or secondary brought on for different reasons. I haven't had my DNA sequenced yet but fairly certain I inherited the genes responsible for RLS from my mother, who got it from her dad. Thought I would lookup some stretches to try. The only stretch thats helped me is kicking my leg out to the side. Like bending over to one side with the other up in the air, not sure what its called. You can only hold the stretch for a second or so. It's more like a kick outward. The only other thing that helps me is a shower with only hot water. I usually sit down in the shower, not under the water as that would be too hot. I briefly put my head in the hot water. And also let it hit down my back. I think a combination of the over stimulation from the burning hot water, some mild relaxation effects, and possibly opening of blood vessels can sometimes provide me with enough relief to go back to sleep for an hour. I usually make it through 2 sleep cycles(30-90mins) every night before the waking up constantly begins, even on medication. I could sleep better with a heavier dose of meds but try to refrain from that as much as possible. The hot showers up during the night also happen somewhat frequently but not always, just when symptoms are the worse. I get a bit mildly better sleep when I'm dating someone as sleeping with someone else helps release oxytocin. Oddly enough, the dopamine release from having sex helps too, but that only last like 15mins. I can count on usually one hand the amount of mornings each year where I wake up and say "hey I feel rested".
