  If you store the butter in the upside down position when not using it. What happens when it melts? In the dish method, it would catch the melted butter. This one would melt all over your counter

  I leave my butter on the counter all year round. It's never hone bad as we use it too quickly. That tiny bowl wouldn't last a day at my home.
