I think I should let my mom know cuz I’m a young furry and she’s asked why I’m asking to buy these things (I don’t have my own account) and I always respond with it’s a secret, or something else in that area. The good thing is she doesn’t push out the truth and doesn’t ask again after I say “it’s a secret/private” but I’m still soooo worried like when I’m drawing one of my fursonas she or someone else could see and that would be awkward especially if my sis saw it. So far she hasn’t guessed but I think I heard her talking to someone and said furry and my name, but I also want to get this tail to go with my Dino mask and I feel like that would give it away and then she would ask if I’m a furry. So I’m really worried and idk what I would/should say to my mom 😊

The thought of one day realizing Im not "completely" asexual has lingered in the back of my mind for quite some time. But honestly Ive been able to just hush it down when I think logically: -Ive never ever once liked the idea of the act -The attraction is simply nonexistant -Not to sound dramatic...but I dont think I'd even do it for the sake of my partner. It's a line I'm not willing to cross. One day I know ill have to make that boundary clear and that kinda sucks, but it is what it is. Also, side note: My 3 best friends are all bi, and its easy for me to say, "Thats okay that you guys like girls and I accept you for that and I even though I dont agree, I can understand why you like them :)" for asexual stuff...I just cant. I cannot understand why anyone would be okay with that and why I'm the weird one for being against it. I don't understand how ANYONE could logically think that thats okay..but at the end of the day, I still accept all my non-asexual buddies 🙃❤ Its just something ill never be able to understand

idk if im a furry but i really want a fursuit and im looking into how to make them and gathering a few things etc. im going to start with this cow character that isnt my fursona but is like a lemon yellow cow thing called lemondrop, just so i get used to the process. but my actual fursone is this bunny deer hybrid. heres my problem. do i make it with bright fruity kinda colours/like a lilac or do i make it more realitstic colours and mroe foresty. they are the two side of my personality and idk which one to do or if i just do both??????

TL:DR look at the backing of the fabric - tighter weave often equals better quality. Additional tips for choosing faux furs - low quality fur tends to have a looser backing and will distort even if lightly pulled. Most high quality stuff that isn't specifically a stretch fabric will be firm, and the weaving will be pretty tight. Also, even amongst pricier fabrics, if you choose them in person or see the backing on an online listing, avoid any where you can see individual clumps on the backing, can easily pull a full tuft from the backing weaving, or the tufts seem thin and have spaces between. For an example of differing quality using from furaddiction, a pretty reliable (from my experience) Australian seller - jacaranda bloom: soft, good quality, tight backing weave, vs. lilac love: you can visually see the looser weave, and while the texture of the fur is fine, it wouldn't be a good pick for an apparel fabric that receives a lot of friction, more appropriate for a display plush or art doll.

I know this is nothing, BUT as a colossal Viva Pinata fan, I HAVE to bring up the fact that Peat Fallax's profile picture shown at 14:26 is clearly VP fanart! I first thought it was a funny coincidence that they clearly had pinata texture and pinata-like patterns, but THEN I noticed the LITERAL VP tag on their ear!!!! THAT'S SO COOL!!!!!

I’m not a furry but I am a therian and the Dino mask is super easy for me compared to cardboard masks I make! I recommend Dino masks I personally love them
