Slyko 7 I am honestly interested in your suits maybe I could see some of your work I am wanting to comition a big cat (don’t know if you do them but I would still like to ask) just a partial I think it’s 4 colors but two of them are only on the fingers and the tail and not the head (I’m not counting paws or eyes in the 4 colors)

I wanted to say that when you made Lumpy, he inspired me to make my own fursuit. Sable wouldn't be here without you, and I just wanted to thank you for that.

I'm actually still having a hard time with my. it's not the foam part but how do you make it look like your character has really fluffy hair on it's head?

@@manebull6291 I know you weren't talking to me, but a technique peeps use to give a character a 'hair tuft' is to either leave the top of the head unshaved or to make an oval/banana shaped 'plushie' out of long pile fur and sew it onto the head. You can also use magnets to attach it too. There's probably better tutorials then how I explained, so you should probably go search for some videos on the subject before you start with the hair tuft. Good luck on your suit!

I think lumpy should be a motivational mascot for aspiring fursuit makers proving that you can make a fursuit head with little knowledge or limited material you can get around the home. And I think he as a suit would inspire ideas of what you can do in isolation, quarantine and lockdowns in this pandemic. Also. I like the humour side of your videos as why your content makes me smile. Not just that you are an adorable sodaroo.

i swear i could watch the floppy ears on this fursuit head all day.

You can find cleaning products for it online and you will need to wash it once month or more depending on how much you use it :)

I'm a bit late, but the thing about not doubting yourself is SO TRUE! A few weeks ago I made my first fursuit head with a time limit of 2 weeks. But from the get-go I was like "okay I can do this I'm armed with good materials and some awesome tutorials, I can make this REALLY AWESOME I just know it!" And Jedi came out... honestly? Amazing! I'm so so proud of him! Believing in him and myself every step of the way (and the power of lots of caffeine lol) really helped :D

The part about the original species is sooo true! I made an original species with a matching DTA and my enthusiasm got so many people involved! The winners now had new characters they liked and many others who didn’t win designed there own, :0 it was awesome

I would go back in time and meet Jesus. Not just to get to know him as a human, but to bring him a fursuit (of the Easter Bunny of course, because that is his fursona). Then I would have created a universe in which furries are not only respected, but the most common world religion. Thank you.

I use EVA foam for a base, you can carve it with a bread knife, nearly as light as foam and SO EASY!!!

since pocari is talking about fursuits I've been looking up some really old fursuits and the oldest one I have found is a pig fursuit from a France film called the dancing pig that was made in 1907, and yes I have seen the animal costumes /fursuits of Fred conquest, but they are dated around 1909/1910.

I’ve watched your videos for years like way before I knew I was a furry. I love your content. Watching you create lumpy inspired me to attempt to make my Dino mask into a fursuit head. And made a tail and big ol ears. Keep up the amazing content

Right on pacari! When I started haveing bad anxiety I was really confused on what or why I reacted to certain things. For a long time I blamed it on me being spoiled or week, then when I opened up to my therapist we found I had a reaction to people raising there voice or being very stern. Everyone’s anxiety is different, and the only other time I found some one with the same anxiety was on Reddit so you that’s how different evryone is. Trust your therapist and don’t blame yourself for your feelings.

Also, for dealing with anxiety bringing a friend with you may help.

ALSO! Fursuiters or even cosplayers can get badges made that specify medical conditions, have warnings on them, or have simple rules on them. Like say you really dislike being tightly hugged because it triggers a medical condition or something or you simply dont like it. You can get a badge made that specifies "Please Do Not hug me! Photos only!" and also keep a handler with you at all times. If you have a medical condition, I'd recommend keeping a bag full of your needed medical items, medical paperwork (in the event of an emergency), clear instructions on what to do if you go into an attack or your medical condition is triggered, a list of emergency contacts, and anything else that is need in the event of a medical emergency. Keep all of that on you or with a handler. All of that will help you get help or help the people trying to help you. As a person who works in healthcare, please keep your health and safety your top priority at cons and while suiting.

Most high quality fursuit heads are going to be a lot of money. That's just how it works. It costs a lot of money to get the materials to make the head. Then you have the labor costs. The maker has to make a profit, or there is no purpose to be making suits. That's why suits are so expensive.

Id say look on etsy! They have lots of mq heads for 300-500, and hq ones for only a bit more! Partials, 3/4th suits and full suits do cost much higher tho.
