I like being lala cuz I have a form dwarfism irl AND am cursed with baby face. It made me laugh my ass off when I joined the game and basically saw a somehow even chibi-er version of myself. I love it, pure goblin energy and usually very nice people. Except this one ahole on Sarg who started shit and calls any venue that allows lalafells pedofiles (which as someone who suffered from csa, pisses me off. Dont falsely acuse people.)

Im a lalafell player and the reason i picked it is because i love being small and cute. im a fairly tall and large male irl and ive never been happy about my height despite people always saying i should be grateful. So the fact that i can be a tiny little dude a short king if you will makes me so happy.

It doesn't take a big devotion to game to have a dream. I had a dream about FFXIV after couple days of listening to these drama videos on the side while working/playing games and I don't even play FFXIV 😂

OP needed a discord role that gives prio speaker permission. They would just have to set up the short-cut. (It lowers everyone else's mic volume when you use it. So people can hear you. It's great for making calls, especially when you have a talkative person there too.)

I was a part of an rp venue on Crystal, and we had a Lalafell staff member. Super sweet, super wholesome. About our third opening she says she’s gonna skip because she’s not feeling too well. Next week her brother pops in on her account to tell us she had passed away in the hospital. So we closed for a week and dedicated the next opening to her. Ai Ai, I hardly knew ye, but please rest easy you lil bean.

I am seeing this a year later, I have been in this game since Closed Beta , i am also a legacy player, and the bias against lalafel has always existed. Part is because there are some players who have sexualized their character behaviors, there are some who are just abusive, but there are people who play on lalafel that are very kind and welcoming.

The bit at 30:00 where you talk about his face always being blank and having no body language while his voice is lively, I think he is maybe autistic? My niece is like this, and it has been a big struggle for her because she has to actively try to remember to animate her face and body when she speaks, she was teased about it very badly in school and because of this she lacks confidence in speaking to people in person and prefers to interact digitally through text or voice-only communications.

OMG just came from the other video, and learning that the dad had really done that and he lost his mother made me sick. I hope he gets real help and gets better and can be a normal person in life, he is clearly so broken from trauma. Not an excuse for his behavior of course, but I have known people like this and after getting help they can finally become functional people. And I hope OP gets her happy future.

45 minutes in now still feeling bad for everyone but feeling a lot less bad for Avery now... He is still clearly a broken person with many issues and who clearly needs help, but hes also clearly very manipulative. Yuck. edit: finished and yeah Avery needs mental help, he probably has a handful of disorders that need treatment and he will probably never be a functional adult without getting professional help. Hope he gets it. Hope OP can go on to a happy future, after all she is still young!

I'm only 30 minutes in so far, but it seems (so far) like this is a story of two deeply broken people and I feel bad for them both right now. Wonder if I will still feel like this as I get closer to the end of the story. Will comment again!

It's kind of crazy that the OP has so little self-awareness that they can't realize they're the drama llama / bad guy of the story. A 'friend' of theirs wants to hang out with their boyfriend, who just wants to do casual content and relax with them. The boyfriend won't even interfere with them watching anime and hanging out, just wants to be included and play games in the channel with them. They're actively angry that the two of them are nice to each other and speak romantically. Then, they pressured their friend to sympathize with them to shut them up and took it as gospel. Finally, it all ends when they aggravates rhe friend while she's hurt that a pandemic won't let her visit her partner, and apparently says some stuff so bad that it ruins their friendship and makes the boyfriend (who remember, the OP is claiming is spineless) come to talk to them and go "What the hell is wrong with you!?" just to then blow up on the boyfriend and make themselves a pariah among the friend group. After all that, they are exiled out and hedged from the social circle. Even after all this, they *still* haven't figured out they're the garbage drama llama. Truly amazing.

I just remember that you should just keep making friends in the game. Don't care if they are female or male and don't expect the relationship to go beyond friends. Also never go for married people, people that have a bf/gf/other to try to win them over/look like the better person for them to be with or try to slide into DMs after they break up with someone to hook up because that is gross behaviour. 😂

I'ma step up here for my man and give him the benefit of the doubt. If the partner being female is a requirement, then it's a great place to start with someone that's female. He's prolly just not talking about other stuff and focusing on that part. Although he does seem obsessed with being in a relationship. This is what makes him seem so thirsty. I reckon his situation as asexual is complicated since it's a spectrum and there can be very unique situations. If he advertises himself as asexual it's probably going to be off-putting for a lot of people and make it extra hard to find someone. But these people can still want or crave certain things, like emotional or romantic attraction. So he probably is frustrated at it being so hard to find someone. Here's to wishing them well \o/

He doesnt understand what " lonely" means. A lot of his actual issues lie with his attitude and pressure to fulfill his own desires while ignoring that people are not perfect. If his intentions are constantly trying to find a mate, he will scare off people and never create a strong connection. His goal is not to have someone to play with or to talk with( you can do that with most players lol)...but someone who can PERFECTLY fulfill his emotions and wants. He definitely needs to start focusing on making friends and bonding with people without obsessing over making every girl their mate.
