Just a suggestion. Lift the back seat, take a small hammer (or anything) and tap on the top of the fuel pump cover. Try to start the car after that. If it starts, replace your fuel pump. When they're older and sit for a while, months, sometimes the need a little boost.

I have tried that. I'm seeing no spark as well. I think it's an issue with the ews. But can't confirm since odb2 port isn't working right. I'm trying to figure out which pin in the ecu sends power to the odb2 port

@@dontbekurt Sorry that didn't help. It could be a long diagnosis not being there in person. Might also check power to the coil connection as well. Some people route it too close to the exhaust. I noticed the Virginia plate, I'm in Chesterfield, VA with our 4 MINIs.

if it's 5 years old or older high chances of it being totaled. They don't want the older analog cars on the road.

No it does not cost more. Do you understand that is literally a headlight and maybe like a $200 purchase. That is what you call insurance fraud. Somebody wanted a different car but they didn't want to deal with the loss of value that comes with taking a car off a lot😂 this is not normal. Don't act like this is something that everybody does and that happens to everybody Just because it's a BMW😂 this car is literally flawless. That is not even debatable. The car is perfect. This is far from totaled. To say the least, if people were listening to the rules, this car would be considered pristine basically

Going from a Dinan tuned 135is to the M2, I will say it’s a transformation. The longer wheelbase helps the M2 ride much better and gives you a lot more confidence. I found my 135is to be very squirrelly in curves and the thing that saved you was that it just doesn’t have the brutal power the M2 has which is basically 150hp more. Also, while I know the 1M had a manual, the DCT I had in the 135is tried to kill me several times lol. Very happy with the M2, how it looks, it’s much more modern and upscale and the performance is on par with more expensive sports cars/GTs. And I would say where the 1M would be more sports car, the M2 leans slightly more toward GT but still a small sports car. Don’t worry about the weight, you really don’t notice it, which is crazy to say but true. And don’t forget, the M2 is a real M car with an S engine which the 1M never really was.

BMW wanted to save money and make more profits with the G87. It's not a dedicated platform. BMW is using the CLAR chasis which is the same one for the latest M3 and M4. The F87 was it's own chasis. The quality control also comes from the G87 being made in Mexico at a brand new facility with brand new employees.
