    Why do you unscrew the drain plug instead of removing the retaining clip and pulling the hose out? This way you don't have to unscrew the plug.

    3200-3800 rpm and don’t dump the clutch, ease it and it won’t bog down, I definitely wouldn’t go over 4200rpm or you’ll just spin the tires

    Tires will dictate your launch what were the condition of your tires when you did this video? Bald or hard tires will allow spin at lower rpms. Your tires seem to be better which was causing the wheel hop. I think you would have benefited from using the dedicated drag mode and slipping the clutch.

    Go back to your passenger side catch can, and make sure the Allen bolt hiding under your coolant hose is not eating up that part of your coolant hose. If it is get a finger sized hose clamp from Home Depot and attach it around the hose above the bolt.

    With the rock guards, you just cut off the air flow through the small tunnel and defeated part of the aerodynamics of the car. Ford put them there for a reason.

    Honestly I get a much much better launch with just the good ol fashion way by revving up the rpms just a little and dumping the clutch and rocketing forward. The launch control on these cars are flawed and they bog the car down way too much.

  • @MTD369

    I can tell you that the launch control feature isnt worth using. All it does is hold RPMS. Doesn't modulate throttle or anything. It's best to use your right foot from about 4500 rpm and modulate the clutch better instead of just dropping it. The car in general just doesnt launch that well

    definitely need to fully disengage all driver assistance, adjusting your launch control rpm higher will never make you “grip a little more” lol. with a better clutch release and more throttle modulation, along with better technological conditions you will have a much better launch without that “bounce”

    It's fine you change diff fluid. But it's overkill. In gt350 manual instruction to change diff and manual transition fluid every 150,000 mi. On my Audi S4 it doesn't need to change diff fluid at all, it's for life of the car.

  • @avzwhips5536

    If you read the “track” manual for the GT350/R it should be changed every 500 miles of track use. I do track my car, if someone doesn’t then yes it wouldn’t be necessary.

    Remember to drive the car in a figure 8 after you're done installing the new diff oil and slip lock. Also you may want to change it one or two more times to flush out the motorcraft junk since it doesn't drain the oil cooler. This will be more of a "flush". Amsoil all the way.

    what’s up man, i’m in a very fortunate spot in my life right now and can’t decide between the R and the base 350. i was able to find an R at a good price that is very similar to a low mile base but can’t decide.

  • @avzwhips5536

    The R will definitely be a great investment long term if that matters to you. I track my car so the R made a lot of sense for me with the added futures it has that are track focused. I also like the fact that they are much more rare than the 350. These are my reasons for switching from a 350 to an R.

  • @avzwhips5536
    @avzwhips55362 жыл бұрын

    No air bubbles...they did a great job cutting different strips to keep the black stripes matte, and keeping the red glossy. This was a better approach than just completely wrapping over the stripes, which would of made the black stripes change color to glossy vs the oem matte.
