Hello KZreadrs... just a car lover here bringing content on my GT350 and many different cars that come along the way. My goal is to give great content on fast cars, like how-to videos, and display highlights on how they drive and sound!
Why do you unscrew the drain plug instead of removing the retaining clip and pulling the hose out? This way you don't have to unscrew the plug.

3200-3800 rpm and don’t dump the clutch, ease it and it won’t bog down, I definitely wouldn’t go over 4200rpm or you’ll just spin the tires

Tires will dictate your launch what were the condition of your tires when you did this video? Bald or hard tires will allow spin at lower rpms. Your tires seem to be better which was causing the wheel hop. I think you would have benefited from using the dedicated drag mode and slipping the clutch.

Go back to your passenger side catch can, and make sure the Allen bolt hiding under your coolant hose is not eating up that part of your coolant hose. If it is get a finger sized hose clamp from Home Depot and attach it around the hose above the bolt.

With the rock guards, you just cut off the air flow through the small tunnel and defeated part of the aerodynamics of the car. Ford put them there for a reason.

The lighting in the differential is absolutely terrible . You can't see anything !

Honestly I get a much much better launch with just the good ol fashion way by revving up the rpms just a little and dumping the clutch and rocketing forward. The launch control on these cars are flawed and they bog the car down way too much.

Did you have to do anything to get the quickjack under your car? I have a 2020 R and a quickjack and my jack won't fit under my car with the rubber blocks in place.

I can tell you that the launch control feature isnt worth using. All it does is hold RPMS. Doesn't modulate throttle or anything. It's best to use your right foot from about 4500 rpm and modulate the clutch better instead of just dropping it. The car in general just doesnt launch that well

definitely need to fully disengage all driver assistance, adjusting your launch control rpm higher will never make you “grip a little more” lol. with a better clutch release and more throttle modulation, along with better technological conditions you will have a much better launch without that “bounce”

It's fine you change diff fluid. But it's overkill. In gt350 manual instruction to change diff and manual transition fluid every 150,000 mi. On my Audi S4 it doesn't need to change diff fluid at all, it's for life of the car.

If you read the “track” manual for the GT350/R it should be changed every 500 miles of track use. I do track my car, if someone doesn’t then yes it wouldn’t be necessary.

Waste of time, because the car launches forward and then dips the front of the car but doesn't grip or move forward instantaneously. My opinion you wouldn't win a street race using launch control. Nice 🚗 car.

Always start at the bottom and finish at top! I can do my gt350 front bumper on and off in about hour.

Remember to drive the car in a figure 8 after you're done installing the new diff oil and slip lock. Also you may want to change it one or two more times to flush out the motorcraft junk since it doesn't drain the oil cooler. This will be more of a "flush". Amsoil all the way.

I put that one on my previous GT350…I didn’t want to drill holes into this frame, this is why I went with this tow hook.

what’s up man, i’m in a very fortunate spot in my life right now and can’t decide between the R and the base 350. i was able to find an R at a good price that is very similar to a low mile base but can’t decide.

The R will definitely be a great investment long term if that matters to you. I track my car so the R made a lot of sense for me with the added futures it has that are track focused. I also like the fact that they are much more rare than the 350. These are my reasons for switching from a 350 to an R.

Nice! I just picked up my 2019 gt350 at the same place. Was a surprisingly smooth and honest transaction. Figured i'd get taken to the cleaners since it's in Scottsdale but it wasn't bad. Enjoy it!

it sounds like you did a full wrap over the stripes. Did you get any air bubbles from the step between the surface and the stripe?

No air bubbles...they did a great job cutting different strips to keep the black stripes matte, and keeping the red glossy. This was a better approach than just completely wrapping over the stripes, which would of made the black stripes change color to glossy vs the oem matte.

@@avzwhips5536 so was the hood wrap (minus the stealth pieces) a single piece? or multiple pieces? did the gloss wrap stop at the edge of the stripe? or did it go over the stripe, and get covered in addition by the stealth? Im asking because im looking to have ppf done on my '19 R as well. Im on the east coast. every shop does it differently so I just wanted to see the options.

@@jonjma The hood wrap was multiple pieces...gloss over the red strip only, matte over the black stripe only , and the paint down the middle cut as well. Nick mentioned in the video they butt seamed it all together. I hope that helps.
