Not better... just additional and some of specialized in that they may be a fictional sci fi course, or an extravagant putt putt

How do you get it to "play" a shot without hitting an actual shot?
I played an event on autoputt tour and it’s not showing up in my stats.
Im trying to play the web qualifying rounds. I have clicked “play round 1”. Played the round, finished the round and…nothing. When i try and play the second round it still says “play round 1”. How do i get SGT to recognize the round when i play it?

I had to change my name in GSPro to match my SGT tour name. Cuts and paste your SFT tour name into GSPro as your player name.
Thanks! New to GS Pro knowing the 8 key is clutch! Before I didn’t understand why I could only hit tee shots or drag the ball icon.

Hey dude nice video! Btw just wondering, i've seen lots of people with extra info beside the info like the distance and balls speed to the right of the screen above your mini map. Just wondering how I do that because it isn't there when you use local match mode but is there for everything else. Could you help me on how to enable the extra data like club speed, AoA, club path? It's like an extra collum on the side
If you click on the tiles, a menu pops up, from there you can select up to 12 tiles you want to show and can arrange them in the order you want to see them. Hope that helps.
anyone able to help as i just played my first comp round in the Free INAUGURAL TIGS TOURNAMENT but the progress says 1 of 2 still ? i did also record the whole round too just in case. do i need to upload something to go the the next rnd or something or do i have to pay first and do the Q School?

If you download a course and later it gets removed from the GSPro server, are you still able to play it since it was downloaded to your hard drive?
No, you will not be able to play it. It will be blocked by GSPro, so even if the course is on your drive, it will not appear in the course list to be selected for play. I know it stinks, but the "Take Down" requests made by courses need to be honored.

Goods stuff again Ralph, I'm thinking of setting up another simulator at my winter residence, would you know if a person can have GSPro on 2 computers under one subscription?
Im sorry to say, you can not ... BUT you can clear your license and use it on a different machine. I think you can do that up to 5 times before 'something' happens.
My issue is, due to noise complaints from the wife, I have to use foam balls when hitting driver. I would like to use "realistic" settings everywhere in the game except hitting driver, where I found 1.25x to match the loss using a foam ball. I've tried switching from "casual" on the tee to "realistic" any other shot, but seem to have lost the "Dynamic Rough Penalty". Any tips would be appreciated! P.S. - I use real balls every club but driver.
I have never used foam balls so have no real experience there. Sorry, not sure how I would approach that.
@@rcperkjr It’s actually funny because I was going to update my own comment, but see I can now reply. I figured it out, you have to start the game on realistic, then when you want to hit driver, switch it casual and turn on the boost. Then, switch it back to realistic after your tee shot. Tedious, but works good! Thanks for the reply!
Played the first round of the free event today but it didn’t save my round. Not sure if it’s because I haven’t paid my dues or did something wrong? Can you stop in middle of rounds and come back to finish later? Likely joining soon

more nuance is needed . I hit the ball 6x plus 145 mph in a whole season . Therefore whenever I play webb and have a great round (-3 or lower) I get Dq'd . Then I play SGT and guess what I finish somewhere in the regions of 200 place because I only hitt the ball 250 yards. Just not fun and basically there is no tour for me for the moment to be competitive . Should be completely based on hcp and another solution should be found for starting players
Yea, there are many different ideas and thoughts on this. After months and months of discussions, Cooke23 on Discord, the owner of SGT deemed the current rules the ones that will try and keep Web tour to those that are on the shorter side of hitters. I know that doesnt make you or others like you pleased, but that is just the direction he went.
I registered an account on SGT and had an email that has a link, but when I try and log in it says my account is not acivated and to click the link on the email, the only link on the email takes me to the log in page, just going round in circles. Can anyone help ?

Hi, how do you get gspro into a putting practice mode ?
There isnt really a "putting mode" dedicated practice. You can however practice on any green you would like on any course you would like. Simply load up into "On Course" practice, select a course and from there place the ball on the green. You can select any hole you would like, and place the ball anywhere on the green. From there, you can practice practice practice all the putting you like from there. I hope that makes sense. Maybe I should do a video on that alone. What do you think?
I just joined this country club as I live 30 mins away. Sim coming in the mail. Cannot wait to get it set up to get some rounds in before the season starts!!!!

Is there a way to view your GSP local handicap prior to setting up a round?

@@rcperkjr I see now I didn't have GSP handicap highlighted. Is there a way to see course handicap when setting up a round for say skins or something.
I recently got GSPro, have joined the SGT Tour and am attempting to play the Q School tournament. I have now "played" round 1 three times. Each time I finished, complete the round and go back into My Tournaments "Play Round 1" is the option. Am I doing something wrong?
Always make sure that your SGT ID is exactly correct and that the name field in GSPro matches exactly as it is in SGT profile page. That is a common human error for this issue. Log into your SGT Profile page on a web page, double check the UID and Username in SGT against that in GSPro player setup page. They have to be exact. Hope that helps you out.

Was a fun course to redo and bring back back to life and a conversion for a former design from a different platform
I wish there was a “type of course” field such as Par-3, Links, Tour, etc. Also, yardage right up front would be a nice field so I can get the longest sorted vs the shortest courses.
Both of those sound like fantastic ideas! I personally have asked for some similar ideas. Especially the par 3 one. I do know another big update is on the horizon with some UI changes. Let’s see what’s in store then. In the meantime I will put together another message to the team for this idea as well.
I was also thinking though, which tee's would you use for advertising the distance? I assume you are looking for them to be 'sorted' by the tips then. That would be the only number that could work as I think about it.

On state searches, you should go comma space and state like ", IL" or ", VA" This will be better so you don't get those that have IL in the name etc...

Anyone having issues with not being able to search all courses? When I select the show all courses - it does nothing... i have not touched the servers - ive downloaded latest stable build etc... No idea why i cant search courses

Thanks Ralph, you always have great input to the new updates. I have a question, who would I contact to make a suggestion? There are so many wonderful courses on GSPro, so many that I will never be able to play them all. I've played well over 100 or more but have a hard time remember some of them when I come across them on the course list. In the history box that you can click on to see your past scores of that certain course, I think it would be great if we could add notes to ourselves of the highlights or difficulty of each course we've played to help us remember the course while viewing in the list. Thoughts or suggestions?
I think that is a great idea for sure. Even more so, what if that little 'notepad' looking icon only appeared if you had actual rounds to look at? Anyways, I sent a message to Devs for you with this idea. Not sure if it is on the roadmap or not, but at least it is in the right hands from here. Thanks for watching and the kind words. Keyboard shortcut "B" doesn't remove the background anymore since last update
It still works BUT it is not guaranteed to work on all courses. It is course specific. That is why they removed it from the Keyboard shortcut. Sometimes it will sometimes it won't... Thanks for the comment. Appreciate it
Just started my sim with GS Pro. When I go into local match, there are no courses to download. When I type one in, no course shows up. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks
Yes, you are missing an important part... over on the right is a checkbox 'show all courses'. Click that and it will then show ever course available.
when can have direct Garmin R10 connect support? better with IOS and andriod direct link! It would be a great product.
Typically the connection to GSPro lies on the Launch Monitor manufacturer and not with GSPro. If Garmin wanted to connect directly to GSPro, they would reach out to GSPro and make it happen. I would reach out to Garmin and apply the pressure there. Thanks for watching!

If you hit "Tab" a keyboard will pop up on your screen showing you the keyboard short cuts. Hitting "Tab" again will make it go away. Further, you can select that from the Menu in the upper right hand corner. Thanks for watching.
