General comment regarding GSPro and the community. I just played it today for the first time and I am blown away. Amazing software/customization. Everybody is so helpful. Just an awesome experience so far. Thanks to all involved.

Hi, tried this yesterday ,very good. However I then went to play online game and because I was in different ‘beta’ version of GSPro it couldn’t find the game…. I had to back out of the beta version and reinstall the current version of GSPro in order to play with my online friends. No biggie and hopefully the bag mapping new feature with be introduced in the next update to GSPro. Keep the videos coming Ralph, your tutorials are so helpful, thanks Gary ( aka Cue_Ball)

Hey great video. Plan on watching more of your content. Question- with my skytrac it won’t read shots with LW selected and it always defaults to lob wedge inside a certain distance. So every swing I have to switch it off the lob wedge and select pw or sw or whichever. Will this bag mapping fix this and it will pick up lw shots?

Im sorry, I dont know much at all about the Skytrak on GSPro. I do know there is a great helpful community dedicated to Skytrak on Discord. I am sure the huge user base there could easily get you sorted. Thanks for watching

Currently that is the only way to use this feature. Please be reminded it is still in Beta and more work will be done on this feature.

Thanks, Ralph, always super-helpful. I see that there is a nickname feature, but the nickname doesn't appear in the game, so it seems to have no function. In my bag, I have several more wedges than just PW/GW/SW/LW. Is there a way to display the nickname in the game instead of the generic "GW"?

Its still a work in progress. It is a beta feature at the moment. Please be patient, there is more to come, I promise.

First I love this feature. I have some comments/questions. 1) is there a way to delete/redo the very last hit (should be 5th hit with driver)? It seemed like the only option was to end the bag mapping. 2) is there a way to complete the bag mapping in more than one session or go back and redo just one club? It was quite a bit of time/hitting to go through the entire bag for 5 shots (plus any redo). I ended up leaving the game running and taking breaks but when I tried to quit and come back it started on LWedge again. 3) is there anyway to export the bag mapping data?

It is still in Beta and there is more work to be done on it. Look for future updates to this feature as it is fine tuned.

@@rcperkjr Hmm think carry would be the optimal as total depends on course conditions so would vary quite a lot, and if near a hazard better to know where you are likely to land than where you might finish after roll out.

Is there a way to remove a club from my bag? I use 12 clubs instead of 14 so my 4 iron and lob wedge are not needed

There isn’t a way to remove a club. I had been thinking of maybe using a second club of the same kind might work. Say you only have a PW and a Gap at the bottom, wanting 12 clubs, maybe making 2 PWs and 2 Gaps of the same distance might result in the desired result. Worth a try!

does it factor in wind, elevation, slope when you hit the J button? or is just normalised carry distance?

Nice concept but is it actually working as intended? Looks like J flies you to the pin if you're within range. But it seems like the point of the feature is to fly to the anticipated landing spot of the selected club regardless of where the pin is, so that you'll know if you might want to club up or down based on the landing point. As it stands, it looks useful for tee shots and layups but not so much for approach shots, imo.

@@rcperkjr Maybe J could continue to work as it does now with it flying to the pin no matter where you are or what club you have chosen. CTRL+J could fly to the landing point of the selected club. Or something similar. Then there would be both functionalities. Either way, it is encouraging to see such active development of useful new features!

Had the same thoughts after watching the video. With it automatically choosing the club that is too long the J key doesn't seem all that relative at this point into the greens.

My 19.2 connector using sktrak. Keep losing connection??

I have no idea about independently programed connectors. I only have personal experience with QC Quad and Uneekor methods of connecting. I would contact the Skytrak users on Discord and see what the others are saying for suggestions.

How do U edit yr bag, deleting what clubs u don't have?

In the video I showed how to change what clubs you have. Use the pull down menu to select say a 6w in place of a hybrid
