A lot of people of commented on how it's nice/interesting to see BM acting and having fun. I agree, although I hope people realize why they didn't do a lot of these things in official videos before. BM has always gotten a lot of flack for being who they are, a well-choreographed group of young Japanese female idols often singing pop melodies over metal music. A ton of people considered them a gimmick that would fade. However, the girls never treated it like a gimmick. They took it incredibly seriously and had to always give 100% energy every single show. If they would have joked and played around on stage, people wouldn't have taken them seriously. They were never given the benefit of the doubt. They've always had to prove that they belonged on the scene, much moreso than many other bands. In concerts, especially the smaller non-Japan ones, they have fun and are silly all the time with both each other and the crowd, too.

Which is exactly why it's so nice that they're able to next to Electric Callboy, opening up a whole new audience and giving the girls a chance to show more of their personality. Hopefully audiences allow them to do more of that

You should check some of the fancams of BabyMetals World Tour, not so serious as you may think 😁 and you can forgive Nico and Kevin doing their own thing in courography BabyMetals being dancing and singing and acting since before they where teens professionaly . It's definitely fun being had by all at this show 😁 🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

Well it is simply obvious how.much fun Babymetal found in this song, at Rock am Ring or at Foxfest. Pornographic worde? Not really. But to get them to dabce. We see Moa and Momo are always ready to teach such zalents as Nico and Kevin. What I found interesting was how incredible culture concious the text was. People who speak japanese are probably also the one with the japanese undetstanding. So women are not allowed to go on a manhunt. But they are allowed to lure men into their trap. And that is what Su is talking about, and the girls are not so confused that men broke through their walls, but how did we achieve that. But aftervzhis they are their men and so they are allowedvto hunt them. While most other cultures more or less expectvthat tipsy women might start to get menhunting. Both cultures know the effect that aggressiv femaled might frighten men pretty fast. And the camera had obvious problems. It is important that the women always appear in control and as adult, but in reality the girls of Babymetal are tiny., so they have to work with forced perspective.

With regard to your comment about acting... all three members of Babymetal are former members of Sakura Gakuin, which involved acting. Su-metal performed in a musical play when she was younger and Momometal has acted both on the stage and in a film. They don't normally do anything like that probably because they've caught so much flack over the years about not being "real" metal.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 (BABYMETAL will return to USA and go on tour from Nov. thru Dec. to perform 18 concerts at 15 venues.) I feel honored to have witnessed this performance 2 times at the venue of the two-day Fox_Fest 😍. On Day-1, the girls and Nico / Kevin hugged each other (and group hug) to celebrate the success of the live debut (heartwarming!!) The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band on this stage was BM's West Kami Band (Great!!). The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. Now the 3 girls and 2 boys are doing this song with EC band in EC shows and with Kami Band in BM shows, in two ways, in some European festivals 💛。

Great fun ... but this isn't the first time BABYMETAL have just had fun with their videos or acted in them (and they always have fun with their live shows, messing about trying to make each other - or the Kami Band - laugh). In some of their own videos they may look serious, but that is because they are playing a part and it is about the song, in others they were quite literally playing and having fun.

Welcome back to the Foxhole.🦊🤘🐭 This single just reached Number 1 US Billboard rock/metal chart for the first time for both bands! They cut the final part when Su said louder "Thank you Nico and Kevin from Electric Callboy" and all of them hug each other just like they did it again at Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ring recently. Fun fact: One of the singers said that it was kinda hard to do that dance move with the hand while moving the head at the beginning. Also at the end, during the third chorus, which btw was a BM suggestion to include (EC didn't want a third chorus), in the MV you can see them doing the same dance move waving theirs arms up and down, they wanted to do it in the live version but they failed and quit when starting with the wrong foot lol EC played after this at Sweeden Rock. After that they played last weekend with BM together once again at Rock Im Park during EC setlist and later at BM setlist with the girls wearing new badass outfits, they also did it the next day at Rock Am Ring twice and there are two cool proshot clips already. Yesterday they performed a live show and played this song in Amsterdam but without EC on stage. Same for today at Greenfield Festival.🦊🤘🐭

The keys Bambie has on their thumbnails and index fingers are referencing the Palestinian key. The key is a symbol of homes lost in the Nakba in Palestine in 1948, and symbolise a hope to return home for those expelled and a claim to their lost property

There's an amazing documentary (on KZread) about their journey to Eurovision. He's ADHD and uses "no rules" as his mantra to calm himself and think straight when he gets overwhelmed. Lovely, lovely guys.

As a Swiss, I'm obviously very happy that my country won but both Nemo and Baby Lasagna were my favourite so I would have been equally thrilled if Croatia won. The only thing missing for Rim Tim Tagi Dim is a bit of that wow factor that Cha Cha Cha had last year or The Code this year.

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 🤣. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍 Is it just a coincidence that the two bands are to perform on the same days in the same places in several European festivals in June ?
