I was so happy for Bambie and for Ireland when they turned in that performance (one of, if not the most outstanding Eurovision staging ever) and finished so high with it. I wanted them to go from the moment I knew they'd entered but I wasn't very hopeful that Ireland would even send a song/act like that and when they did I didn't actually expect it to make the final.

I don’t think the budget was *that* small. The pyro alone is costly. RTÉ spend very little on our national final, but they give an ok budget and creative freedom to their Eurovision artists. Just so happens that this year’s artist is incredibly creative with many creative friends and contacts

The keys Bambie has on their thumbnails and index fingers are referencing the Palestinian key. The key is a symbol of homes lost in the Nakba in Palestine in 1948, and symbolise a hope to return home for those expelled and a claim to their lost property

Yes its a curse, to love this song even more :). Alxo, the sport where it said Crown The Witch was suppose to say CeaseFireNow but Eurovision was trying to stay away from that so bad but it backfired. Bambie is amazing they are Broadway worthy performance, its even too good for Eurovision

I think the same about the song. This is not my cup of tea, musically speaking, not something that I would add to my playlist BUT I admit the performance was fantastic and hypnotic, super week choreographed.
