And still the 6th place is the best Ireland achieved in decades and so many people are insanely proud of Bambie for the performance they evoked on stage, because so many think that this is one of the best Eurovision performances of all time, if not the best!🇮🇪🧙‍♀️👑🖤 The public AND the jury were actually voting for Bambie a lot, but we know that it's always harder for alternative music on this stage against all the mainstream. However, Bambie's follower numbers have been exploding since Eurovision, so the success is coming anyway and we're seeing an artist on the rise!🖤✨️

They did really well, Jury vote was great with 6th (expecting a lot worse). Televote a little disappointing in 6th. But then the song is very much 'marmite' for lots of people. But hay, can't beat the 666 Jury-Tele-Overall votes

No wonder that so many people regard our beloved witches' ritual as one of the best Eurovision performances EVER!🇮🇪🧙‍♀️👑🖤 In my view, they delivered without exaggeration the best Eurovision performance in history - Bambie, every Goth and alternative soul in the world is insanely proud of you and you're the most heartwarming voice I could ever imagine to represent us! 🇮🇪🧙‍♀️👑🖤 This boundary-breaking show is theatrical extravaganza, a storytelling experience in 3 minutes, a trance-like journey that casts a spell over the viewer just like Bambie is evoking enchantment on stage - and on top of that they are a once-in-a-lifetime performer, "Doomsday Blue" is an addictively refreshing song without any limits, and we get to see a staging that doesn't only captivate the dark souls who feel drawn to witchcraft anyway, but also the masses who have no choice but crowning the witch! Bambie is not only an artist who renders me speechless on a daily basis and is my biggest inspiration these days, but also an addictively charming human being who can make countless hearts jump for joy with their infectious smile. This is a performance that will be eternally engraved in the history books, and I will rewatch it over and over again until my last breath on earth!🖤✨️🌙 What is haunting me at night and day is that this easily exceeds everything people considered a Eurovision performance before - Bambie is setting new standards that will change Eurovision for decades to come. Of course "Doomsday Blue" works as a song and is travelling through an insane amount of genres and Bambie's vocals are on point no matter if they're dancing ballet or defeating the toxic demon/boyfriend with an inferno of screams and in the middle of a firestorm, but the one aspect that makes me crazy in the most positive way is that this show has cinematic qualities and almost feels like a movie! While other contestants are satisfied with simply singing a song or repeating the same dance breaks over and over again, Bambie is combining all existing types of art to create a mesmerizing mélange of genreless dark art, theatrical drama, elegiac dance and visual grandeur... If someone would have told me before, I wouldn't have believed that such a performance is even possible. But what becomes clear is that you just need the right creative people in the right place to make history! I have never seen something like this before: Bambie will rise from an independent artist to a world star.😍 And I couldn't be happier because we share the same dreams and values! We are always saying "crown the witch" - but in a way the witch has already crowned themself with this blast of a performance! 🇮🇪🧙‍♀️👑🖤🌙 Thank you for your engaging reaction to my request as always, dear Lee!🖤✨️

The performance was directed by the 22-year old director Sergio Jaén on a minimum budget. The Eurovisionation will forever be in his debt for bringing a breath of fresh air and raising the bar for what's possible when it comes to the visual package of a performance. He's going to be very busy from now on... Of course Bambie and the whole team did a FABULOUS job and the end result wouldn't have been possible without everyone's talent and hard work, but I just wanted to mention him.

The best performance/set I've seen in Eurovision ever. And I have watched Eurovision since 1999.

The 'love will always triumph hate' isn't part of the song but a statement ;-)
